Summer, Summer, Time Is HERE!

It finally feels like Summer has started! Friday, May 21st was the last day of school. But on that day we were at the State Track Meet. So when we returned on Saturday night, and then went to church Sunday and graduation, it really didn't feel like we ever really went into summer. But over the past week we have done some things, and it's really starting to feel like SUMMER now!
The following Monday after State, our high school baseball team played in Washburn for Sectionals. We went to watch them play, which was very fun, and a good time.
On Tuesday we had our Track Banquet. We had pizza, and our Coach gave out letters, and senior gifts. Of my friends Leona, Josie, and Me got varsity letters. I'm really excited to order patches for my Letterman's jacket.
Then Wednesday the baseball boys played Quarterfinals at our home field. So of course everyone was there to watch them play. It was a fun game to watch and they won, and tomorrow we are going up to Springfield to watch them play at State. This is the farthest that any Stockton baseball team has gone.
Thursday was Softball day. I had my first softball practice of the year, and that night we also had our first softball game. We lost to Mont Rose.
Friday we didn't have anything to do, it was Mom and Dad's 22nd anniversary, so we went out to dinner to celebrate that.
On Saturday, the 29th it was my BIRTHDAY:)! We didn't do too much, just hung around the house, and that evening we had a wedding to go to.
Then Sunday Alex had a baseball tournament. So we went over to Nevada to watch him play. His team won one game and then lost the second. I got SO sunburned on my legs, and feet. We came home that night, and I went to youth and then a bunch of families went up to the pool and we cooked out.
Yesterday, we celebrated my birthday with the family. We had them all out for lunch, and then had banana splits. It was really fun, and I enjoyed getting to see everyone.
This morning I woke up and went to weights at 8:30. Which I really didn't want to go, but it was pretty fun just to hang out with my friends, and get to see them again. Now here in a while I'm going to softball practice. It's going to be SO hot. Ahh... I'm hoping it's quick.
Well I have gotten a little bit of everything so far, and It feels like summer now!

What Is Going on With the Wheeler's?

Hello! It has been a while since I last blogged!
I have been super busy though. I don't have any pictures sadly, and really my last few days haven't been to interesting. But I thought I would go ahead and tell you a little about what has been going on in the Wheeler home.
  • Sunday- We went to church, and afterwards went to Kay's to watch the softball world cup. We had lunch there and then came home after the game. I finished my 2008 world series scrapbook for the boys.
  • Monday- I had softball camp from 8-10. After camp I came home and took a shower, had lunch and we went to buy makeup. I had a doctor's appointment at 3, so we went straight there. Which we found out that it was just allergies like we thought. Then we went and picked out movies, I got Bride Wars and Alex got Taken. Which both turned out to be really good. We came home and I watched Bride Wars. Then we had softball camp again from 6-9. We made it about 1/2 way through and it started storming so we had to leave. But since it ended short I was able to go to a baby shower. When we came home all 4 of us were in mom's bed watching Taken.
  • Tuesday- I had softball camp again from 8-10. After camp I went to Kay's and went with her, Pauletta, mom, and Stephanie to Springfield. We shopped around for food and birthday stuff. I also got a really cute dress to wear on Saturday from Maurices. When we got back I had something to eat and relaxed a while before I had to go to softball camp.
  • Wednesday- TODAY! I had softball camp from 8-10. Then I came home and watched a movie, did some laundry, took a shower, cleaned my room, and took a nice long nap. When I woke up I had dinner and then have been doing more laundry and just sitting around. Since it was Wednesday and we had youth (which I missed due to the fact that we didn't have dinner until close to 7) we didn't have softball camp. It was nice to have time to relax. So tomorrow will be Wheeler 411's 1 year anniversary. I cannot believe that it has been a whole year. So I will try to post tomorrow after camp. I have lots to do in order to get ready for our vacation that is coming up. This weekend is going to be extremely busy.

I hope you have a nice evening!

P.S. The Stockton Cardinal's got 13th place in the USSSA AA World Series. The teams that beat us got 2nd place, 4th place, and 6th place.

Rolling Down the River...

Today I got up super early and went with my youth group to some river somewhere to go canoeing. It was really fun... but 4 hours made my legs, arms, and everything else hurt. I'm super sun burned and my body hurts. Then after we got home 30 minutes later I had to be at a softball game. The varsity lost the first game and we lost the second game. I'm sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo tired and achey. I want to go to bed. I'll finish this later. Bye.

Post #400 and a quick update!

YEA! This is post number 400! But I just wanted to give you a quick update on my day. I went to work this morning with Papa and we cleaned some carpet in a house. Then I came home and had lunch with dad. I stayed at home the rest of the day playing spoons with Alex and Jacob and texting. Then at 4:30 I went up to the ball field for our games. The first one at 5, I played and we won. In the second game I didn't play and our team won. In the third game I played 1/2 the time and we won. They all were good games and I'm very glad that we won. Our next games are on Thursday and those will be our last ones. I'm soooo tired! Have a good night! I'm going to bed!!!

Relaxing Day #1

Ahhhh.... It feels so good to just be at home. Today we didn't do anything at all. Well... I did do a few things. I slept in until 9:30 and have done some stuff on the computer. We had corn dogs for lunch and then I cleaned and did laundry. At 4 or so we went over to Kay's house and watched some TV. When we came home we found that I had softball practice at 6. So I went to that for an hour and then went to youth. It was really good, we played basketball. After youth I went home and we changed into our swimming suits to go to the pool. It was really fun. We had a whole bunch of people there so we were able to play lots of fun games and do things. It was around 10:30 I think before we got home. Then I showered, while mom made me some dinner. After dinner I folded some laundry, put it away and now I'm blogging!!! I'm SO tired. It is almost mid-night. Ahhh... well see you in the morning. Hope you have a nice relaxing day too. Relaxing day #2. Ha Ha.
PS. The pictures are not ones that I've taken, but ones that I found of Gulf Shores... where we are going on vacation. Ya!!

Busy Day #20 and 21

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!
So we are finally home from the state baseball tournament. I was actually kinda sad that we had to go... but I was getting a little home sick too.We lost our game to the Bombers. In the tournament we went 2 and 2. Which was really good because we were in a really good pool. We beat the Yellow Jackets which was really good. I thought I would show you some pictures from yesterday and then some that I took of myself this morning. I will have more father's day pictures to follow. Here is Easton and Tate. I love this picture they are so cute.
Here is Easton again. Cheese!
Here is me this morning. I liked this outfit a lot.

I like this picture too. Well I better be going now~ Rach :)

Busy Day #16 and 17... the storm!

Hey... I haven't got to blog in a while because we've had no power. The only big thing that has happened the last couple days was this big storm that came in on Tuesday morning at around 5:45. We were all asleep and apparently Papa called to tell dad that the sirens were going off. So we went to the basement, and I would have been getting up soon anyways. As we were going down stairs is started to hail, and it kept hailing for a really long time. When it was all over there were mounds of hail sitting everywhere. The power went out too, and we didn't get it back until this afternoon. So we have been living at Kay and Papa's house for the last two days. This is the bottom. See all the grass, how pushed down it is... well that is where the water was running through our yard. This is the front of our house. There are leaves plastered everywhere on it.
Poor Bud was scared... and we let him out to re-mark all of his territory that was destroyed.
This is me... tired from getting up so early, then falling back asleep, and then getting up and playing with a crazy muddy dog.
This is a hole that was left from one of the tees that was uprooted by our drive way.
Here is the tree, it's really cool looking but not good. Not good at all.
Here is Bud. The water here was across the road, it was just flowing right over it. Bud was being so funny. It was really windy and the leaves were just flying off the trees. Every time he would see one fall, he would run off and chase it. He was really cute.
This is the drive way, and the tree that they had to cut apart so we could get out.
This is more branches that are down around the house.
Another view of the drive.
This is a tree that fell... it is close to the bottom.
This is the leaves that I was talking about.
Bud... aw....!! Cute!
This is the big tree that snapped.
Here is our back porch. All covered in leaves.
We had no power so I was bored and took lots of pictures. This is the tree again.
This is a pretty bad picture but you can see how the top half of this tree just came right off.
This is the top of another tree that is in our front yard. It had branches all twisted in the front.
Here was our back deck and mom's fern laying in a mound of hail.

Just one more picture of the big tree. It is really bad at our house. There are trees down all over the place. I thought I would show you the reason I've had no time to blog.

Well today has been really relaxing. I went to weights this morning. Then I went to Kay's, and took a three hour nap. After my nap I watched TV and just hung around the house until Mom got home. I started doing laundry and folding and putting away clothes after we found we had power again. That's what I've been doing the whole night. Putting clothes in the washer then switching to the dryer, folding and then putting away. It isn't that hard, and actually kind of fun. Maybe just every once in a while. I wonder how many loads I've done??? 5 or 6???

Well I won't be home to blog for the next couple days and maybe more. We are going to Alex's state baseball tournament in Columbia. It is going to be a long drive. But we are staying in a hotel, and will get to swim, play and hopefully watch some good baseball games. I will take lots of pictures and make sure to post them when I get back. Have a good rest of the week!!!

Busy Day #9

Since I didn't blog yesterday due to the crazy weather... I decided to do 2 posts.
Tuesday was really good.I got up and went to weights, which was pretty boring like usual. We had to run stairs, and do agility's. After weights I went to the store. We went out and did a cleaning job. It was really small and didn't take very long. We came back to the store, and then went with papa to have lunch at his house. I don't really remember what all went on... I fell asleep, and didn't wake up until Mom was there to pick me up. I was very tired. When we came home it was like pitch black out side. They were calling for some really bad weather but it just rained and was pretty windy. So I couldn't blog because of the lightening. It was kinda scary for a while. With not being able to blog I went upstairs and worked on another face picture. You know the ones that I got for my birthday. Well I did another one, and she is a little more wild. I thought she turned out good though. After a while dinner was ready and we came down and had some chicken and noodles. After dinner I put in a movie, The Bat, and Alex went out to shoot at birds again. Mom was in the sun room reading, and Dad left to go clean carpet at Woods. I finished the movie and then went to go and help Alex call birds. I couldn't do it very good so I came inside. I came in and started watching old home videos. They were so funny! Me and Alex watched them for a while, and by the end of the night all four of us were in Mom's bed watching them. There was one when Alex was just a baby, and I was two. It was Christmas morning and I had just opened a present that was a video. Mom asked me what it was about, and I said "Baby Jesus". It was Charlotte's Web!! Another one was of me and Alex shooting baskets in the kitchen. He was four and I was six. We were fighting over the ball or something and Mom said something like... I have the camera on, and I don't want to hear you guys still fighting in 20 years. It was really funny because we still fight about similar things all the time. It was so fun to watch videos of us in California with Sam. We had video of the Ocean, and Alex screaming when a wave knocked him over. (That was really funny... because he wouldn't get in! So I was standing in it ya know, and I kept saying- It's OK Alex! Then he finally gets in and the first wave is big and gets him all wet and knocks him over. He starts to get swept in and he starts screaming "DADDY!".) It was really fun to watch all of that stuff. We finally had to quit and go to bed. I slept in my bed for the first time all summer. I thought that It may help my back. It has been hurting a lot, and I think it actually did help a little. That's all for day #9.

Busy day #4 and the Messy Room

I wanted to start off by showing you how incredibly messy my room is right now. I told you a little about it, but I wanted to share some pictures of how BAD it really is.
This is right in front of my closet. That laundry basket is full of clothes, school supplies, shoes, bags, and who knows what else. I have shoes, cleats, clothes, a rack, and some other miscellaneous things all on the floor. My plans for tonight and tomorrow are that I can get this disaster picked up.
Here is my real bed. There are tons of clothes, boxes, game boy, stuffed animals, things that I got for my birthday, everything is just stacked on top of each other.
Then here is the part of my room where you can actually see the floor. It's not too bad. Just an open drawer, some pillows on the floor, and that's it.
This isn't so bad either. I have some P.J.s, and a marker board on the floor, then my desk does have some papers, and things spread out on the desk. Also I have some things pushed in that top cabinet that need to find a new home.
Here is my "Bed", so to speak. As you can see, I have blankets to lay on, and some to cover up with, some pillows, and stuffed animal or two, and it's the perfect place. I'm right by the window, under the fan, in front of the TV, and close to the bathroom.
Here is my dresser. I have lots of clothes on the ground. Some books, and scrap booking things layed out on the ground. A coat, water bottle, shoes, sweats, scrapbooks, and then a bunch of junk on my dresser. It isn't actually so bad anymore. I know where things are and just throw the junk in an even bigger pile on my bed.
This is a closer look at my dresser. I have forgot the bathroom, and moved everything to my room. Since we have weights at 6:30 in the morning, I usually just get up put on some clothes, and have moved all my stuff nice and close for when I'm still sleepy. I have my makeup, deodorant, body spray, brush, stuff to wash my face with, the whole set up. So I don't even have to go in the bathroom in the mornings.

This is a better look at my closet, shoes, and clothes, and notebooks, and bags, everywhere. Only about 1/2 my clothes are hung up. The rest of them are either on the floor, or down stairs in a laundry basket. So now you all know what my room looks like when it is really messy!!

So today, I got up this morning to go to weights. Then papa took me to his house, and I just took a nap, and relaxed the whole afternoon. At 3 I went to have my physical done, and I'm good to go. Then we came home and I watched Bud and Princess play out in the yard for a while. At 5 I had to go to basketball camp. Mom came and got me at 7 and then we came home for a wonderful dinner of spaghetti, cheesy bread, green beans, and doughnuts for dessert. Today has been really good. I got to watch some TV shows that I hadn't got to in a long time, and also I took a nice nap. The best thing of all is that we have no weights tomorrow morning. I won't have to get up. I just get to sleep in, and clean my room. I'll have to show you some after pictures. Have a nice evening!!

Long Ole' Day

Today has been THE longest day EVER.
First of all, it wasn't boring at ALL... it was SO fun. But it felt like it went on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on etc.
This morning when I got to school, I had to go into Mom's room and take a couple of last minute A.R. tests to get my points. ( I wound up with exactly 25.2 points for the quarter). After that I went to the gym, where we played dodge ball for our advisory games.
After the games I went to science and we did absolutely nothing. All we did was play heads up seven up and some other games like that. Then we went to second hour and like two minutes after the bell we were released to go to the buses. So we loaded up and went to the high school. When we got there we watched a bunch of kids from our school act out a car accident. They had a helicopter, ambulances, and all kinds of vehicles come in and really make the accident seem real. Then we went into the gym and a speaker talked to us about drunk driving and some other things.
Following that we came back to the middle school, for part of fourth hour, lunch, and part of fifth hour. When those classes were over we went back out to the high school were we had the M.A.P. carnival. We bought tickets and there were lots of booths were you could buy food and play games. All I did was buy a funnel cake, and get some soda and candy from the F.B.L.A.'s Plinko game.
It was a very fun day... but I'm really ready to be done for the weekend.
Sadly I have softball practice at 8:00 tonight, and then Alex has EARLY games tomorrow morning. The only good thing is that I got my battle summary's finished this afternoon. The only other homework I have besides that is a sketchbook.
I think I will try and work on it a little now and finish it Sunday night. Since we are going to the Springfield Cardinal's game on Wednesday everything will be due on Tuesday. I still have a math quiz, and science test, an oral test, an art sculpture, and sketchbook left to do before the year is over.
But I'm not too concerned about grades right now.(At least in Art, it is an extra class). So things should be getting better over the next week.
I hope you have a nice and relaxing evening... I will be at softball practice, getting dirty.
Love you- Rach

Morning Wake UP!

Here is a video for the morning! Be back later!

It's Later! I've been wanting to post all day, but I've had a big cloud sitting over me, and now it has gone away and everything is sunny. If you're wondering, that cloud was my I Search paper. It isn't due until May 11th but for some reason I've been stressing out about it. So I've taken most of today to work on my 8 page report. I chose the topic of gymnastics about two weeks ago and have been doing some research here and there. But when she finally told us the due date, and when we were going to be done with the lab. Then I was getting a little worried. All I had were 2 web sites and they don't even count as sources, just extra. So I asked the teacher some questions, and the next day I got 2 newspaper articles, and a book. I got my 2nd book yesterday, and all that is left is for me to do two interviews. The only problem with that is that I have no IDEA who to interview! So If you know something about either the history of gymnastics, or some gymnast questions then I would really like to interview you. Please leave a comment or something. I will get ahold of you some how. Today though I have accomplished SO much. I've all of the report done, except for the interview pages, and the what I've learned section. So If I could get the interviews done then I could wrap up the paper, and get my bibliography completed. So I really need some help. This really is what I've done all day long.

Last night though, I went with Gina and Josie down to the creek. The water is SO HIGH! In several parts, I'm sure It would have been over my head. Even the shallow parts were probably about 3 1/2 feet deep. The funny part was when we were playing in the mud, in our bottom, I was trying a technique that Gina said would help you get out of deep mud, and I fell over and got all muddy. It was really fun. Then I came home and took a shower, then we watched some CSI. I got this movie yesterday afternoon called "Legally Blondes". I thought it was pretty good. I've watched it 4 times already if that means anything. It is definitely a girls movie though.

Today, besides working on my I Search Paper, I have watched Legally Blondes twice, played Dream Life for 9 days (9 days on the game), and petted Bud, Coco, and Skit. So I'm just taking it easy.

PS. The song that got the most votes was I'd Lie, By Taylor Swift.

Good Morning!

Hey! Today has been good so far.... even though it is only 8:42!! I'll post later with more infromation on the day.
Well I was going to blog... but I have other things to do so... Bye!!!
I might blog later.

I need some MUSIC!!!

This is Me and Alex at McDonald's. He was listening to my Mp3 player ( because it has cooler songs apparently), and I was just trying to get a couple good pictures to blog. It was a really fun night.
I like this picture too because it is just like Alex to have his tongue sticking out while trying to untangle those cords.
This was this afternoon when Me and Bud got back from the creek. I wish I could have taken some pictures... but I was too caught up in playing with Bud and getting all wet... a camera would not have been a good idea at the time.
Everything just reminds me of summer now!! The green grass, trees, flowers EVERY where, and the wonderful weather. Wearing shorts and flip flops has never felt so good.
This is our new cool little over the weekend house project. Dad hung up the backpack hooks. So now we have a place to hang our bags and stuff. Too bad school will be over in 21 days and we will have different bags hanging on these hooks. Actually that is a VERY good thing, not bad.
This is our kitchen... complete with cookies, and a nice place to sit, do homework, and watch CSI on the laptop. (all of these we things we did after school today). In the summer it will look like this but we will be doing it all day... coming in and out, pl.aying and hanging out in the basement.
This is our cute little living room with all of the pretty sun rays coming in!! Reminds me of summer! It was SO nice today!
I love this picture of Coco because this is really what he does in the summer. Just sits around on the deck and lays out in the shade. It didn't bother him that Bud was out or anything he just sat relaxed.
This reminds me of summer too... Mom taking a nap in the sun room.
Here's the kitchen and dining room.... I just thought this was really pretty. Our cute little house.
Hey! Sorry I haven't blogged in A LONG time...
but I have been Super busy. We'll just say I was taking a blogging break. So the last time I blogged was on Monday... and I was watching Stranger than Fiction. That movie was really good! Here is how my week has gone since then...
  • Tuesday- I went to school, then had track practice after school. I got to leave a little early though, because Alex had a baseball game. So we went to the game, the weather was a little chilly, but not too bad. Alex got to hit once I think, and I got to see my FIRST Cardinals game of this year.
  • Wednesday- I went to school and left right after to go to our track meet. It was a very big one too.I was In four events, long jump, 4x2,800,4x4. In the long jump, which I stood in line for 2 hours for, I didn't do so well. My very best jump was 11'11'' and that was after I put my hand back. Then in the 4x2 I think that we possibly got 5Th. We were third in our heat, but there was a heat before us so I don't know how well we did. In the 800 I got 3rd place. The good thing is that I beat my second to best time by one second. I got 2:46. So my best ever is 2:38, but the time that I get more consistently is around 4:47 and I beat that time by 1 second! The two Pleasant Hope girls are definitely the ones to beat... this time by the way there were two P.H. girls in front of me. Then in the 4x4 we got 3rd. There was 1st and 2nd real close together... then a big gap... then 4th and 5th... then a big gap. So nothing too exciting. After the track meet I rode home with Mom, Dad, and Alex. I was really excited because we stopped at McDonald's and I got a chocolate shake. I also got a McDouble which is one of my top 20 fav. foods, well hamburger... all the same. When we got home at 11:00 I was EXHAUSTED!!!! So I got right into bed, and slept in my track uniform and everything.
  • Thursday- This morning I woke up at around 6:45 so I could take a shower and get my stuff around for school. (all of my stuff had been tossed around and thrown on the floor the night before). So after my shower I finished getting ready and Dad took us to school because Mom didn't go to work... she is not feeling well. School today was not very exciting. In science we went over a test, we had homework in math that I got done in Art, In American history we did a review, in Art we worked on getting pictures for our water color, in P.E. we went to the weight room, and in English we went into the lab and did some research for our I Search Papers. I learned something weird yesterday... that gymnastics in Greek means "Exercising without clothes". My topic is the history of gymnastics, and It is a little harder to find than I thought. But I've got quite a bit of stuff to work on. After school we didn't have track practice... so I got to come right home!! That is the first time in like FOREVER! When I got home I ate some cookie dough, changed clothes, then went out to play with Bud. It was SO fun! We went down to the creek and played, and got all wet, then came back to the house and had some more cookies. Now I am blogging and putting together a list of songs that I want to buy for my Mp3 player. I'm trying to think... you should leave me a comment and tell my of any good songs that you can think of!!! That's a good idea!

Tomorrow the plans are go to school, watch the Extreme Team preform for us... then have track after school. So I should be able to blog tomorrow.

Leave me a comment with your favorite song or a song you think I should download... have a nice evening!!!

La La La La La La La La La La La La La.....

Hey! Today has been very good... I'M EXHAUSTED!!
This morning I could hardly get out of bed,
and at school... I don't remember much, I was totally out of it.
The only thing I do remember is that we don't have homework.
After school I had track practice, which was not fun. We ran to the beach and once we got there we had to do sprints and stuff in the sand. That was real fun, NOT! After that we did sprints on the hill, and came back to the school. Right after that I walked over to softball practice with Bree. We waited awhile, mom brought me my stuff... and then we scrimmaged the high school girls. I'm pretty sure we lost, but ya know...
So I'm really tired, have a swollen knee that has been giving me some pain, and I'm sitting here with ice on it drinking milk, and telling Alex about the scrimmage. I'm very excited though that we are having chilly dogs for dinner. That is like one of my top 20 favorite foods.I'll list them...
  1. Tuna Noodle Casserole
  2. Green Bean Casserole
  3. Mashed Potatoes
  4. Baked Potatoes
  5. Shrimp
  6. Chili Dogs
  7. Chicken Noodles
  8. Chicken and Rice
  9. Mac and Cheese
  10. Pizza
  11. Strawberry's
  12. Jell-o
  13. Chicken Enchiladas
  14. Pancakes
  15. Scrambled Eggs
  16. Chicken Sandwich
  17. Hamburger
  18. Danish Cheese Cake
  19. Cupcakes
  20. Snickers

So right now we are watching "Stranger than Fiction". Later we are going to take a shower and then go to bed. Hope you have a very nice night!!

2:38 and feeling the pain

Hey! It feels so weird to finally be posting. So here is a brief update of the last few days.
Thursday- I went to school, then we had a track meet. It was VERY small and we our 8th grade girls got 1st over all. I also got 1st in the 800! We then our 4x4 team got 1st too. I didn't do so well in the long jump. But all of the other people from our school did very well. Really fun meet.

Friday- Go to school, then a track meet. It was VERY big and our 8th grade girls got 1st over all!!!!! That was SO exciting. I also got 3rd in the 800, and I broke my all time best record...2 minutes and 38 seconds! In our 4x4 we got 2nd place. But the meet overall was REALLY good for our team.

Saturday- I had to get up early and go to a softball game. We won 8 to 2. I hit one between first and second and got on base. Then I hit one in the outfield and the girl caught it, then the first baseman caught a line drive that I hit at her. Then I got a new bathing suit (I'll show you later). Then we ate at Chick-Fill-A, came home, and I went to Kay's house while the boys went to their baseball game. They actually won both of their games and will play again tomorrow. Tonight me and Kay went to Subway for dinner, and then to S.T.A.T. rally at church. It is really cool... and I got to work in the nursery. All the little kids are SO cute!!!!So I might do that again tomorrow.

So I'm really tired!! Blog again tomorrow.......... maybe!?

Track meet fun!!!!

YEA!!! Just got back from our track meet with LOTS OF GOOD NEWS!!!
I was in three events, 800, 4x4, and long jump. I got second place in the 800, and that is what the video is of. I was so close to getting 1st. But the girl that won was also the girl that got 2nd in the mile.I also broke a personal best time in the 800, last year my best was 3:10, this year my practice time was 3:08 and today I got 2:48!!! 22 seconds better.
Our 4x4 got 2nd also, our time was 5:01. So I will have 2 medals.
In the long jump, I jumped 12 feet 5 3/4 inches. I got 4th place, and was SO close to getting third. I would have needed to jump 2 inches farther.
The even better part was that our 8th grade girls team got 1st over all!!! SO A BIG NIGHT!!!!
But I'm so ready for bed!!!

Track Meets

So, I'm just finally getting settled. For the last few hours I have been working at a track meet for the high schoolers. Luckily it was a home meet. I am currently at Kay's house watching college basketball, along with Dad and Alex. But Mom unfortunately is still at the track because she is a timer.
So for now I am sitting in front of the computer, warm and cozy. Before I was standing in the rain, huddled up with lots of people under a couple of umbrellas looking for shelter. I was working at the triple jump. We were measuring and recording, the jumps and then I went and waited around with Mom for a while.
Dad picked Me up later after he had picked up our PICTURES!!! We went to have pictures about a month ago, for the baseball team, but I had mine done too. So they picked them up tonight, and they look SO AWESOME!!! I will have to show you some of them because WOW! I love them so much.
The good thing is that tomorrow is Friday and also we were scheduled to have our first meet, but because of the weather they canceled it. So I will be going to practice then having a wonderful time at LEONA'S HOUSE!! Me, Bree, and Leona are having a slumber party at her house. So this will be VERY fun!! Just warning you that I won't be blogging tomorrow.

I'm sleepy

This has been the LONGEST Wednesday!!!
First of all, this morning I had to wake up at 6:30 AM and go to track practice. So we ran and worked on some Field events, then went right into school. The chaotic part of today was that it was PICTURE DAY!! So this morning I had to get ready in the school's bathroom. I didn't think I looked too bad for having to get ready in the floor. Nothing too extraordinary happened at school, except I got out of Art because of pictures, and part of P.E. too. For the rest of the hour though we had to play dodge ball and our team won BOTH times! I also found out today that for the rest of this quarter in English we will be writing an research paper. This can be on anything we want, and I picked the History of Gymnastics. So it has to be 8 pages long and we will have to use a certain format that is used by English people. So It will be a lot of days in front of the computer that hour.
After school since it was a Wednesday we were out early and Mom ran us home. I let the dog out, and we went to the creek. Well, the water was a lot deeper than it looks, so I stepped in with my rubber boots and all of the water rushed into my shoes! So I was soaked, and cold. I came back to house, took a shower, fed the cats, played with Bud, Coco, and Skit for a while. Then came in and looked at blogs. At around 5:30 we went up to the softball Field for practice. But we only could be there for 30 minutes because of bible study at 6. So we went to that and had a good time. Now we are at home, getting ready to eat some PANCAKES!!!! YUM!!

Basketball!

So I still haven't changed my background and I don't want to blog! This is very rare, but every once in a while it happens.

This week has been SO HECTIC!!! I kinda like it though, there is less time to sit in front of the computer,or watch movies, and sit around. I am constantly thinking about the next hour, day, week and trying to remember all of the instructions I'm given. (Which I have HORRIBLE memory so this is a large task) I Actually think I have been through 2 note pads within the last few weeks. I Always am trying to remember socks, shoes, deodorant, homework, phone, practices, what trip or were it's at, what to make up, how much money, what jewelry, when are the morning practices, time, sleep, cupcakes, brownies, and muffins. (I really want some chocolate).

I have been staying with so many people lately, Bree,Kay,Josie,Stephanie, Alex is away I'm here and it is so hard to find time with the family. The last few nights I have felt more relaxed though, Alex had two ball games so I stayed with Stephanie,Drew, and Tate. We had a good time, we watched the movie Enchanted and I really liked it.

Then tonight we are staying at Kay's to watch some TOURNAMENT BASKETBALL!!! Yea! This was a very big thing in our Algebra class. Gina was about to punch the boys for picking Marquette to win over Mizzou, and most of the people in our class came down to Kansas,North Carolina,Pittsburgh, and Mizzou to be the teams to beat. I managed to listen to this conversation and get my homework done at the same time. My pick was NORTH CAROLINA to win it all! At our house the person who gets the most games right wins a candy bar and soda.

So I the family is at Grandma Kay's for some good ole' TV watching and relaxing. Tomorrow will be just as busy as the rest of the week. I have to go to Softball practice, and will have to leave early to get over to the track to make up a mile that I missed for the Jeff City Trip. We also will be getting our uniforms. Have a nice evening!!!

All is well in the Wheeler Home

So It's the day after St.Patrick's Day and this means I must change my background! This means another visit to www.thecutestblogontheblock.com were all of the cutest backgrounds are found. So today at school was wonderful, and the best part was I didn't have ANY HOMEWORK!

If you were wanting to know ALEX'S TEAM WON THEIR GAME LAST NIGHT, BY 1 POINT, AND IT WAS A MAJOR COME BACK, I HEARD!! And so after a late night, I got to rise this morning at 6:20 so I could get ready for track practice!! It started at 7 and was pretty chilly, but after the sun popped up we were able to take off our sweats and jackets. We did some accelerations, and then field events I worked on triple jump, and it was REALLY FUN!!! I want someone to help me figure out if I'm really doing it right. SO I got all sandy, and then we had to go to the locker room and get ready for school. Which we didn't get out until 8:00 and that gave us 10 minutes or so to get ready. I had packed all this stuff to get ready and look nice, I wound up wearing jeans,my Cardinal's jersey, tennis shoes (which were still full of sand), my hair in a pony tail, no makeup, didn't wash my face, ran to my locker, put away my stuff, and the bell rang just as I was getting ready to go to the gym. So I just went right to first hour, and was EXHAUSTED, I had been going 100 miles an hour for so long and it was really hard to slow down. Everything obviously turned out fine, but it seemed like a long morning.

American history was the best, you know all that stuff that I had to memorize and then orally say to the class, like the preamble, bill of rights, and the battles of the Revolutionary War. Well today we had to re say all these and then he checked our folders to see if we had everything in order and nice and neat. I had everything in my folder, and AMAZINGLY I SAID ALL OF THE ORAL THINGS RIGHT!! So I got a 100 out of 100!!

Another funny thing was right after lunch I went back to my locker to get my stuff and go back to Mom's room. I put in my combination, and it would NOT open. So I was like Great it's jammed, so Leona came over and was going to try to open it, she put the combination in was pulling up and it just wouldn't work. She had to get to class so I was going to get help, then looked up and I was standing at the wrong locker. When I told her we both laughed A LOT!!

Right now we are really busy but it's kinda fun sometimes. Alex has a basketball game tonight, at 5:30 and it is at home, so we are excited about that. We also have two more baseball games tomorrow, and my track practice. So we will see what happened. Have a nice DAY!!
