Cleaning Away!

I've gotten a lot of work done today in my room. I went through all of my drawers and got rid of everything that doesn't fit anymore. That was fun. Then I organized what I was going to keep and straightened up my room. I still need to vacuum and dust but that can wait. This morning I slept in late and then played on the computer for a while. Then I went and cleaned. After I finished cleaning Mom and I went and picked up Alex from the pool. Now we are here at home and I'm gonna blog and then eat some yummy supper. After supper Alex has baseball practice and I'm going to walk with Mom and Jill. This time I hope I can keep that cute kitty. If he follows us again. Have a good day!!!

Busy Day #8

Well... I don't have a whole lot to say. I'm pretty tired though from getting up at 6 this morning to go to weights. We didn't go for very long though... so It wasn't too bad. After weights I went to the carpet store. While I was there I cleaned, a lot. We cleaned out all the corners and got rid of all the junk... well most of it. After we got everything out we vacuumed and dusted, and started to organize some things in their office area. I also took a whole bunch of plans from houses and alphabetized them. So even after I had done all of my cleaning at home... I went and cleaned some more. I actually had a really good time though. After I got done cleaning we went to Sonic and got some lunch. I got a chicken sandwich and some cheddar puffs. Tomorrow I will be out at the store again. For the rest of the day I played catch with Drew and Tate, and we even fielded some grounders. (Stephanie: tell Drew that it was a good thing we played catch and he threw me grounders this afternoon because we never got a call about softball practice and I missed it. So I got my own practice in this afternoon.). So as you just must have read, we didn't ever get a phone call saying that practice was moved from 8 to whenever it was and so Dad drove by the school and they were practicing. But by the time I would have been ready and got up there it would have already been almost over. Plus me and mom had both been asleep when he called so I would have had to been zoomy quick to get ready. So we just stayed home, and mom made some dinner. We had tacos for dinner and they were Delicious. But before dinner Alex and Dad had set a pop bottle out in the weeds and were shooting at it from the deck. I think they stopped that whenever they got Bud out. Alex claims that he shot a bird earlier but I don't know if I believe him. After dinner I was having some technical difficulties with my computer but I got them fixed thanks to dad! You can give him a round of applause. So now I'm just sitting blogging. I may do another post later. Right now I'm reading Genesis in the bible. I'm just reading like one or two chapters a night. Right now Adam and Eve just got kicked out of the garden. I like how my new bible that I got for my birthday puts things. It has all of these little questions and answer things. It's very helpful.

Have a nice evening!! PS. Good luck Drew and Tate @ your ball game.

Busy Day #7 - Messy Room Now Clean

Finally! Finally my room is CLEAN! So here are the after pictures. I actually may have gone a little over the top. I posted pictures of like every inch of my room. Some things like decorations and things I wanted to show you, and then I just kinda didn't want to leave any part out... so here it all is.
This in on my dresser. I put some new pictures in my frames, and tried to hide my bathroom stuff behind my decorations.
Same thing here. I now have a nice spot to keep my body spray and deodorant.
This is my book shelf slash TV area. I have my scrapbooks on one side and then more storage on the other. I have books, some decorations, my Francesca Battistelli CD, and some other things.
Here is the top of my other dresser. I have some pictures, a little jewelry box, and a room freshener. I thought this little section was really cute.
Here is my green shelf, I just switched the pictures out, and rearranged.
This is my little nook, with my chair, doll house, cool lamp, and the dresser.
I wanted to show you my bulletin board also. I have pictures of me and my friends, my basketball number, a picture that Sydney drew me, some bible verses, a true love waits sheet, and some bead things.
This section of my bulletin board has some pictures that Leona drew me, one of a camel, and one of my name. Then there is a no bake cookie recipe, a sewing thing, and my paper clip collection.
On this part I have a booklet of bible verses, a picture that Leona colored for me, a valentine from Bree, a picture of me, beads, a ticket from a college basketball game I went to, wrist bands from baseball tournaments, numbers of baseball players that hit home runs, and the rest of my paper clip collection.
Here is the top of my desk, I put new pictures under the glass. I tried to get all of my friends and cousins in. I have pictures from track, the super bowl party, mom's birthday, basketball 2 years ago, this fall, and three summers ago. Also here is my cool pen collection, sometime I will have to do a post and show you all of my awesome pens. I also have this cute little basket thing that holds my note pads, blank Cd's, and other things.
Here is my section of my desk that I saved and put pictures and poems, and things that my friends gave me. The one with the animals is from Leona, the Rachel acrostic is from Bree, and the 10 picture is from Bethany. The other little picture is from Leona too.
This picture frame I got for my birthday, and I was kinda upset because I didn't have any pictures to put in there. But while I was cleaning I found a few pictures that I had developed of me and Bud that were really cute. So I decided to put this one in the frame. I LOVE it. He is so cute and it sits right on my desk where I can see him all the time.
I also put together this little board that goes behind my computer. I liked it because I could put up more pictures and things. I have one of me and Bud that is SO cute, one of me and Bethany, one of Dad and Alex, a gift certificate, a picture of me and cat, and one of me and Bree.
This is my little set up. I love how small my computer is, it leaves room for all this stuff and had only 1 cord. Way more attractive.
This is the printer, my Cd's, and my calender. I have all of my practices and things written down here.
This is my desk from a distance. I moved some things from the top of my desk. I have my purple chair, and my pink butterfly trash can. I like both of them. See... with out that computer tower it is so much more open.
I couldn't get rid of my pallet on the floor. I moved it more to one side, and cleaned things up a bit. I just like the position and feeling of it. So I think I will leave it for a little longer.
This is me this after noon after a long day of cleaning and riding four wheelers.
In my closet I did a lot of work, starting with the top, I de-junked the top. I threw out all the junk that I shove up there.
Here I didn't do too much, just picked up things and hung them in their proper place.
Here I got all of my shoes under control. Now they aren't all over the room. I have then nicer ones in the top green bin, and the not so nice ones on the bottom of the pink rack. The top of the rack has tennis shoes only. Then the bottom green bin has bags, purses, and things like that. I now have all of my clothes hung up.
This is my doll house. Not much to say... just that I dusted them and re-aligned them.
Here is the top.
My night stand... I have a box of pink tissues on bottom, a couple notebooks, and a photo album on the second section along with a picture of me and Courtney McCool. She was a gymnast that was in the Olympics. I got to go and see her speak.
Here I have my purse lamp, a clock, some Mary Kay lotion, and a picture of me.

This is my bed. The real bed that I never use. I am hopefully get back in the habit of using it again soon. But for now the floor is fine. I just like it down there. I hope that you feel better knowing my room is clean.

Here is how the rest of my day went. As I was cleaning I took a lot of breaks. I guess you knew that seeings how it took me... what 4 days to finish. I have little bit of A.D.D. So I rode my four wheeler today, I got Bud out and he played quite a bit. Then I went to youth and we went to church. Then after that we came home and got ready to go to the pool. I really wanted to get in but it was so cold that I couldn't make myself. So I just sat and watched. I wish I would have now, but it's okay. So I hope you have a nice night!! I'm exhausted!! :) Rach

Busy Day #6

Today actually hasn't been busy. I got to sleep in a little later than usual, but had to get up at around 8 so I could get ready and be at basketball camp by 9. It was pretty good, we got to do a little more of actual playing. Then after camp mom picked me up and we came home. She mowed part of the yard, and I've been working on my room. It still is not done, but I'm actually getting some work done. If I would get off of the computer then I could get more done. But with my own laptop, right here, ya know it's so hard not to blog. I actually have been listening to some music, and It was getting boring so I stoppted to change it, and some how I'm now blogging. But I've gotten a lot done today... I think. I moved the old dumpy computer out of my desk and put my new stylish Red laptop in its place. I changed out the pictures on my desk, and since I don't have that huge monitor I have tons of space for more decorations and things on my desk. I've also done alot of dusting. I did all of the nooks and crannys in my room, did a little in Alex's and even did a little in the bathroom. So I'm not totally wasting time. But you know how it is... I was dusting the book shelf, and knocked over on of my little decorations and it broke. So I had to stop and got try and fix it. Then I went and helped dad wash Bud. It was actually really fun. Except for when he shook and got wet dog all over me. We took some shampoo and really got him clean. I would have taken a picture but I couldn't. He is shedding all of him winter fur and getting ready for the really hot summer days. I don't know how many ticks we saw and picked off of him today. They were everywhere, on his legs, back, side, belly, neck. Poor guy....got tons of little nasty things sucking his blood. After we finished washing him up. Which by the way he looks so much whiter and not brown. After we finsihed washing him up, we went over to Chad and Christy's to see if they would like to come over for dinner. Which they are. So I have been trying to get things looking 1/2 way decent. I at least have all of my clothes hung up, and the things that need to be put in the closet in nice piles. The desk was a really big thing though. I will need to vaccum still, and maybe clean my mirror. But just some minor things that I will be able to do tomorrow. So If I don't post again tonight.... good night!!

Busy day #4 and the Messy Room

I wanted to start off by showing you how incredibly messy my room is right now. I told you a little about it, but I wanted to share some pictures of how BAD it really is.
This is right in front of my closet. That laundry basket is full of clothes, school supplies, shoes, bags, and who knows what else. I have shoes, cleats, clothes, a rack, and some other miscellaneous things all on the floor. My plans for tonight and tomorrow are that I can get this disaster picked up.
Here is my real bed. There are tons of clothes, boxes, game boy, stuffed animals, things that I got for my birthday, everything is just stacked on top of each other.
Then here is the part of my room where you can actually see the floor. It's not too bad. Just an open drawer, some pillows on the floor, and that's it.
This isn't so bad either. I have some P.J.s, and a marker board on the floor, then my desk does have some papers, and things spread out on the desk. Also I have some things pushed in that top cabinet that need to find a new home.
Here is my "Bed", so to speak. As you can see, I have blankets to lay on, and some to cover up with, some pillows, and stuffed animal or two, and it's the perfect place. I'm right by the window, under the fan, in front of the TV, and close to the bathroom.
Here is my dresser. I have lots of clothes on the ground. Some books, and scrap booking things layed out on the ground. A coat, water bottle, shoes, sweats, scrapbooks, and then a bunch of junk on my dresser. It isn't actually so bad anymore. I know where things are and just throw the junk in an even bigger pile on my bed.
This is a closer look at my dresser. I have forgot the bathroom, and moved everything to my room. Since we have weights at 6:30 in the morning, I usually just get up put on some clothes, and have moved all my stuff nice and close for when I'm still sleepy. I have my makeup, deodorant, body spray, brush, stuff to wash my face with, the whole set up. So I don't even have to go in the bathroom in the mornings.

This is a better look at my closet, shoes, and clothes, and notebooks, and bags, everywhere. Only about 1/2 my clothes are hung up. The rest of them are either on the floor, or down stairs in a laundry basket. So now you all know what my room looks like when it is really messy!!

So today, I got up this morning to go to weights. Then papa took me to his house, and I just took a nap, and relaxed the whole afternoon. At 3 I went to have my physical done, and I'm good to go. Then we came home and I watched Bud and Princess play out in the yard for a while. At 5 I had to go to basketball camp. Mom came and got me at 7 and then we came home for a wonderful dinner of spaghetti, cheesy bread, green beans, and doughnuts for dessert. Today has been really good. I got to watch some TV shows that I hadn't got to in a long time, and also I took a nice nap. The best thing of all is that we have no weights tomorrow morning. I won't have to get up. I just get to sleep in, and clean my room. I'll have to show you some after pictures. Have a nice evening!!

Busy Day #1

I have been working all day long! First of all, I woke up at 6 o'clock in order to get ready for weights. We lifted, did some agility's, and then did a run. After that we had open gym for basketball. We did a lot of shooting, and did some other drills. Then we had to shoot 50 free throws. We counted how many we made out of the last ten and I was 5 for 10, 50 50. When open gym was over Papa came and picked me up. We went out to the store and went out to clean carpet. We did two little apartments in town, then went back to the store. We were done at around noon. So then we had some lunch, Sonic, and I did some cleaning and organizing at the store. Mom and Alex had their first day of summer school. So when they got done, then they came and picked me up. We came right home, and I thought I better get a post in just in case I didn't have time to do it tonight.
The reason I might not have time is because I have softball practice at 5 and then I think we are going to watch Jacob play tonight.
The whole getting up early and working all day isn't so bad! So I'll get used to it. Hope you have a nice night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1 muddy dog, 2 clean kids,3 mom and dads,4 cookies,5 actors,6 muddy boys

Hey! Sorry I'm just posting, the computer has been really mean. But I finally got it to work. I have SO many good pictures from today. I hope you don't mind if I post the good ones today and then tomorrow I will add the rest to Cool Pix. But We'll start in order... starting with this morning at church.
We went Sunday school and it was really good, then the children's choir did their musical today.
They did really well. I love this picture of Alex, it is SO FUNNY! Partially because of the look on his face, and partially because we were sitting there and then I snapped it, and the flash was really bright right in his eyes, and he jumped.
Hannah and Gabby.
Here is Jacob.... in the robe... with his face covered. He is such a good actor you can't even tell that is him.
"Mom and Dad" coming to rescue Crystal.
The whole group taking a bow.
Here is Jacob. I took a lot more pictures of him, than anyone else. He also had a very good solo.
Now After church is were all the action was. We had just finished lunch and were going to sit and talk, when the boys came down wanting to change into play clothes so they could "get dirty". So they went outside and this is what we saw out of the window. All 6 of them playing some baseball, mud game. So of course I geared up, and went to take some pictures!
Here is them deciding whether or not this person was on the base or not before they got tagged.
Alex! Showing off his extreme muddiness... if that's word?
Here is me and kitty! SMILE!
I love this picture of the boys. They were having such a good time.
Tate, deciding if he should jump in the mud head first or not.
Drew, I like this one because you can just see the mud caked on his face and hair.
More play.
Apparently, someone was safe.
This is by far, my favorite picture of today. I liked how when I said, " Can I get 1 group picture, then I'll leave?" They all said... ugh... only if you'll just leave. So I finally got them to let me take a picture. Then Alex,Eli, and Jake say, "Nobody Smile.". Then Tate pitches in, " We should smile because we are having a really good time." Nobody argues... they just all smile and act as if it was their idea to be taking the picture.
These also are some of my favorites... Drew...
Tate...
And the PROUD mothers. They were cold sitting outside, so they wore their blankets.
Nobody would let them in the house so muddy, so Dad gave them a hose down, IN COLD water.
You can tell that he is screaming... probably because of the numb and pneumonia feeling.
Here are the dad's enjoying their screams.
Easton, watching. My favorite part was when Bud walked up the stairs and he said, " No you stupid ole' puppy dog!!".

Here is Eli and Alex, skin and bones.
