First Day of school and More

Hello... it has been a while since I blogged. I thought I would give you a quick update on how school has been going. On the first day which was Thursday we didn't go to regular classes. We had an assembly in the morning and then were in and out of advisory all day going to meetings and drills. So the day was pretty much just a fun day. (first day of school pictures to come)

Then on Friday It was super boring in every class we had to read a syllabus and then go over all the rules. We had to take some pre-tests in some classes and in 1 class we had homework. Which I will have to do tomorrow. But here is how my schedule goes...

1. Geometry- with Mrs. Ray
2. Biology- with Coach Bolte
3. American Government- with Mrs. Walker
4. Spanish- with Coach Shipps
5. P.E.- with Coach Driscoll
6. English- with Mrs. Whitsell
7. Art- with Mrs. Sloan

That is my day pretty much... leaving out lunch and advisory. I have those two classes before P.E. I like most of my classes and high school has been pretty fun/boring. At least for the last few days. But I'm sure it will get better. I also am enjoying softball.

Alex has Mrs. Pirtle as a homeroom teacher and several other teachers as well. I think he likes school fairly well too. Jacob has Mrs. Manring, Drew has Mrs.Rutledge, and Tate has Mrs. Shuler. I don't know how much they are liking school... but I know that I don't want to go! Summer needs to last a lot longer.

Today we went to Springfield and had a good time looking at things together and being with Family.

Busy Day #26

Hello! How is every one's day been so far!!?? I haven't done anything. So far, I have washed my face, brushed my teeth, folded and put away 2 loads of laundry, checked my email, and talk to my friends. So very relaxing. I didn't tell you about last night though and how we went to the pool and swam. Stephanie and the boys went along with me, mom, and Leona. YEAH! It was really fun. Also yesterday I took some pictures of Skit. I thought that they were really cute. For the rest of the day I'm going to relax and then at 3 we have softball practice. Have a good day!!!

Busy Day #8

Well... I don't have a whole lot to say. I'm pretty tired though from getting up at 6 this morning to go to weights. We didn't go for very long though... so It wasn't too bad. After weights I went to the carpet store. While I was there I cleaned, a lot. We cleaned out all the corners and got rid of all the junk... well most of it. After we got everything out we vacuumed and dusted, and started to organize some things in their office area. I also took a whole bunch of plans from houses and alphabetized them. So even after I had done all of my cleaning at home... I went and cleaned some more. I actually had a really good time though. After I got done cleaning we went to Sonic and got some lunch. I got a chicken sandwich and some cheddar puffs. Tomorrow I will be out at the store again. For the rest of the day I played catch with Drew and Tate, and we even fielded some grounders. (Stephanie: tell Drew that it was a good thing we played catch and he threw me grounders this afternoon because we never got a call about softball practice and I missed it. So I got my own practice in this afternoon.). So as you just must have read, we didn't ever get a phone call saying that practice was moved from 8 to whenever it was and so Dad drove by the school and they were practicing. But by the time I would have been ready and got up there it would have already been almost over. Plus me and mom had both been asleep when he called so I would have had to been zoomy quick to get ready. So we just stayed home, and mom made some dinner. We had tacos for dinner and they were Delicious. But before dinner Alex and Dad had set a pop bottle out in the weeds and were shooting at it from the deck. I think they stopped that whenever they got Bud out. Alex claims that he shot a bird earlier but I don't know if I believe him. After dinner I was having some technical difficulties with my computer but I got them fixed thanks to dad! You can give him a round of applause. So now I'm just sitting blogging. I may do another post later. Right now I'm reading Genesis in the bible. I'm just reading like one or two chapters a night. Right now Adam and Eve just got kicked out of the garden. I like how my new bible that I got for my birthday puts things. It has all of these little questions and answer things. It's very helpful.

2:38 and Worth the Pain

ONLY 3 MORE DAYS UNTIL SCHOOL IS OUT!!!
I'm so excited that school is FINALLY going to be over. We have three more days and all three of them are filled. Tomorrow I'm only going to 1-3 hours then I'm going to a Springfield Cardinal's game. It is for getting perfect attendance this year. On Thursday we are going to the park to play, and have lunch. Then on Friday we are going to have an awards assembly... and it's a 1/2 day.
Here is my school day...
Science- Look over tests
Math-Look over quiz/watch video
American history-Watch video
Art-Clean out drawer and turn in all homework/class work
P.E.- Play dodge ball
English- Read/ turn in all class work
That was everything that I did. Not very much. Tomorrow I don't think we will be doing very much either. So the week is all fun from here.
After school today we had our track party. We all went to Sundae's, I got a chocolate shake. We turned in our uniforms and handed out medals. I had a total of 13. 5 GOLD, 4 SILVER, AND 4 BRONZE. I also found out that I now hold the middle school girls 800 record. I was SO excited, she even printed out a sheet that has all of the girls records for all events on it, and my name was in the 800 spot!!!!!!!! So that was the biggest thing for today.
I have something planned for the rest of this week though. Tomorrow night I will have softball, and Thursday night too. Then Friday we will have a last day of school party, and Saturday and Sunday Alex has a baseball tournament, and on Monday I'll have softball practice. On Tuesday we will have our first softball game, and on Wednesday....
It just keeps going like that. But without school...things won't be so bad. We'll have all day to play and relax before all this stuff.

5 days left... and GLAD about IT!!

I don't have any new pictures... but I do have a picture here that I have done in Paint. I thought It was really cool... my favorite color is Orange and SO is Leona's. I emailed it to her... but she might get this first.
So here is what happened today. First of all, we spent most of last evening sitting in the basement because the sirens went off. The fun part of all that was that we got to bring the cats in and Coco was hilarious. He would sit on my lap for a while, the walk across Mom's lap or Alex's head. It was funny seeing him... looking in amazement at "Indoors".
The next thing is that today was our day to go to S.B.U.. While we were there we got to play in the gym and then go swimming in the pool. It was very fun and we only had to go to two hours of school. Tomorrow will be similar. We will go to first hour and part of second... then go to a play thing in the morning, then come back for lunch, then go back to the high school and do the M.A.P. carnival. This weekend we are going to be busy and I have quite a bit of homework. But Next week is the last week of school. Monday and Tuesday will be our last days to take quizzes and go over homework. But on Wednesday... since I have perfect attendance I am going to be going to a Springfield Cardinal's game for the day. I don't know the plans yet... but we will get out of class to go to the game. It starts at 12:00 and doesn't get over until around 3:00. We won't get home until way after school's over... but it is going to be really fun. So it does pay off to go to school everyday. Then on Thursday we will go to the park, and on Friday we have 1/2 a day and we just have awards assembly. So it is going to be pretty relaxing. We do have a performance event test in science, a quiz in math, and an American history project and memorization thing due. But It shouldn't be too bad. Good Day

Today has been really good, and will hopefully get better. Here are the good things from today...

In school today I didn't have any homework, and no real hard work...

I only had track practice and it wasn't too hard. Paul was so cute last night in the nursery, and so was Elijah, so I just took a few pictures.

Also, tonight we are having the family, along with Jim and Carolyn over for dinner.

Also... there are only 13 days of school left!!! I'm so excited, and we have several things planned for us to do in the next 3 weeks. SBU trip, MAP carnival, park, and several other things.

The plans for tomorrow are my track meet after school, and Alex has two baseball games.

Sunday!So today has been GREAT so far!
This morning I woke up very tired, but I had a very good time at church. Sunday school was first then we went upstairs. The sermon was very good, and we signed up to work during the mission trip that is going to be here in our home town.
After church Alex, Jake, Drew, and Eli were shooting hoops, and Drew made 2 three pointers in a row. We left and came home, and we are getting ready to eat some YUMMY smelling chicken and noodles. So I have to go now!! Bye!!!

Just a Typical Day

Hello. I have had a long day. First hour in science we did a lab that was really hard and my group never figured out the arms muscle thing. Second hour in Algebra 1 we went over homework, and then got some more, which I finished in class. Third hour in American history we finished up saying the 15 battles in order, and I said mine and got 100 on my first try. I was SO happy! Fourth hour in facs we went over the rules about washing dishes and all that stuff. We have a test in there tomorrow over the stuff we have learned the last few days. Fifth hour in P.E. we went to the weight room. Sixth hour in English we read our stories out loud. I did mine and everyone clapped real loud, so I think they liked it. Sometime I might type it on here and take a picture of my memory map. Seventh hour I went to Mom's room and she was in an MRI meeting so I just put up some books and then looked at blogs on her computer. After school I went to softball practice and we fielded some balls. After practice Mom picked me up and took me home to eat and change for the middle school basketball game that was at home tonight. So at around 5:50 we went to the game. The seventh grade lost very badly, and the eighth grade lost, but not as bad. After the game we stopped at the store, and came home. I am so tired, and I need to take a shower and get ready for bed. I thought about not posting tonight cause I didn't really have time, but then I was like, NO! That would be horrible. Nobody would know what I did today. So I posted. Bye. Wowza this was a really short post. I will not add anything else. PINEAPPLE!

Just a Typical Day

So today was just another typical day. I had lots of homework but that's pretty much it. First hour in science we took our performance event tests, which I think my group did pretty good. Second hour in algebra we went over homework and reviewed for our test on Thursday. We had homework but I finished it tonight at home. Third hour in American history we finished the movie " The Crossing". At the end of class we had to write a little paper about if we thought that George Washington was a good leader or not. I said yes of course. Fourth hour in music we had a substitute so we we watched to movie " Annie". Fifth hour in P.E. we went to the weight room. Sixth hour in English we worked on our Memory Maps and stories. Then seventh hour I went to Mom's room and made some cards with sentences on them.
I have so many tests to study for. I have a D.O.L test tomorrow, A science test, a Math test on Thursday, and a music test sometime? I guess I will just take it one hour at a time. Right now we are going to have some dinner and celebrate Dad's birthday. We are having all of his favorites, including a yellow cake with chocolate icing. I am very much looking forward to this. Well I should be going now!

Just a Typical Day

Hey!I'm back. All afternoon I just sat around doing nothing, and then I received a phone call from Josie. She told me that the high school girls had a basketball practice today at 3:30-5:30. So I decided I would go. ( We were invited to go.) So at 3:15 we left, I just got back about 10 minutes ago. Practice was pretty good, I got swatted though. I guess I expected it. Now I am at home just sitting here typing away, while Mom is making delicious treats, and Dad is also on the computer. Alex I'm not sure what he is doing. Well there isn't much to talk about. I guess I should be going then, Bye.

PS. Tonight we are going to be taking family Christmas pictures. I am excited.

PSS. I really hope we have school tomorrow.

PSSS. I want school because I don't want to make these up later. Plus we have a LONG break coming up soon. Bye.

Just a Typical Day

Hey! Today has been Wonderful, and cold. Right now I feel as if my toes are going to fall off. Just like I said, I worked on my last gift, which is for Bethany, and I finished it. We started watching a movie, The Three Amigos,which I didn't finish. The reason I didn't was because I was too busy in the basement working on the bags for these gifts. I decorated all of them a personalized bag for there special little gift to go in. And another thing I did was take a picture of them all so I could put them on here after I give them away. I thought you all might want to see them. After I finished all 12 bags, I came upstairs and wrapped all of my cousins gifts. I am just so excited to see what he thinks about what I got him. This Christmas I can tell is going to be great. I have some pictures here of the "snow" ,which is really ice, at our house. Which reminds me I need to go and feed my cats they are so cold. I always forget when I feed them that I need to water them. And when I do usually the next day I forget to and remember I did it the day before, but now since its winter the water feezes. So I should probably go now and do something. Bye.

PS. You know how I said I was looking at purses online this morning, well above are the top 3 that I found I liked. They all were on sale too. Bye.

Just A Typical Day

Hey! Today has been very great. In first hour science we graded the hardest worksheet ever. Then second hour in algebra 1 we went over homework and then learned more about x and y stuff. Third hour in American history we graded homework and then read more about the revolutionary war. Fourth hour in music we finished notes finally then started working on our project. We are in partners, Bree and Me, and we had to choose a period and then make a newspaper from that time about a certain musician from that time frame. We chose the romantic period and Beethoven. Tomorrow she will be gone so I will just be getting information and pictures off the Internet. Fifth hour in P.E. we went to the weight room and lifted weights. Sixth hour in English we worked on our projects, I finished the script and am making a final draft of it. Seventh hour I went to Mom's room and did homework since she was in meetings. After school she brought us out to the store because she had to go to an eye doctor appointment in Eldorado. Dad will take me to basketball practice at 5:00. Right now I am just on the computer doing nothing. Bye.

Just a Typical Day

Hey! Today was pretty good. First hour in science we did a lab that was very fun. We got to put food on sticks and burn it over a candle. Second hour in algebra 1 we started a new chapter on graphing, and had homework but I was able to finish. Third hour in American history we turned in some work and also had some discussion on the economy. Fourth hour in music Bree and Me finished the song we are writing. Fifth hour in P.E. we played a really fun handball game,( I scored 5 times!!!)very unusual for me. Then Sixth hour in English we were assigned these big projects that are due on December 1st. I'll tell you more later. Then seventh hour I went to Mom's room and worked on redecorating her bulletin board, Christmassy! If that's a word. After school Mom came and dropped us off at home then went back to school, because she is teaching an after school class. The regular teacher couldn't be there today so she is filling in. I came here and got something to, got dressed for the game, and now I am just sitting here tying away. Yes, we have a game tonight, HOME obviously. We are playing Fair Grove, I think if we play well we have a good chance at winning. Well I should be going now. Bye.

I don't know I'm bored,hungry,and don't know if I want to go to Youth tonight. I haven't made any choices and I don't plan on rushing seeings how I have an hour and 45 minutes. So what should I do?

A great Day!

Hey! Today has been very good. I have quite a bit of homework but, it's okay. So first hour in science we graded our lab from yesterday and took notes. Then in second hour algebra 1 we talked about our homework and did some group work,we had some homework but I got it done in class. Third hour in American history we worked on our test prep folders. I put A picture of a rock on the beach, with a sunset, and on the rock it said Plymouth. Like Plymouth Rock, ha ha. We are learning about Columbus and all that good stuff. On the back I drew a conquistador with an explorer hat and sword. I haven't actually started the questions yet, but I have this weekend to do it. Fourth hour in music we are going to be writing a song on Monday. But each of us has to bring in an instrument, like a pot and spoon, but more creative. So I came home and got a little wooded box with a drawer in it, makes lots of loud and obnoxious noises. But we went over where everything should go for our song. Next in P.E. we played kickball, and it was semi fun. Sixth hour in English it we had reading workshop. But the librarian wasn't there so we couldn't renew our books and I didn't get anything read. Seventh hour in Mom's room I finished some things and then started putting some books into the extra books file. After school we had practice, pretty fun, NO RUNNING. Now we came home and the Ewing's are here, to play cards. Well talk to you later BYE.

Just a Typical Day

Hey! Today was really good. First hour in science we finished up a lab and graded it, in algebra 1 we took a quiz over some of the things that we didn't understand on our test. In third hour American history we graded our worksheets, and in music we went over notes and rests and some other things. Then in P.E. we had to do a mile but we could jog the straights and walk the curves. We used the pedometers again, the step goal was 5,000 and I just barely got it with 5,245. Sixth hour in English we talked about lit. circles some more, and in seventh hour I went over to Mom's room and did a few things, here and there. After school we had basketball practice, it was pretty good, we learned our offences and went over a few other things. At the very end we got our Jerseys. I GOT # 10!!!!!!!!!!! I was so excited! I was number 10 last year too. (Hopefully in softball next year I will get to be 10.) So that was exciting and now I am just at home doing nothing, I'm just sitting here waiting for my chicken nuggets to finish cooking. Alex is over with Jake shooting hoops. Just a Typical Day

Hey! Today has been so much fun. We went to church and taught our Sunday school lesson. The lesson I thought went very well, then we helped Mom in children's church. We said bye to Kay and Papa before they left, which by the way Pauletta is here for the time being. Then we came home and rode four wheelers, ate lunch, rode four wheelers with Josie. Then Leona went home and Me and Josie rode four wheelers for a while. We got tired of that so we decided to go explore the creek. We pretended to be scientists in the Amazon Rain forest, and we were looking for a special plant, which we didn't find. But we just walked around and looked at all the really pretty things. Then I came home and watered the cats because they were thirsty, and came upstairs and got on the computer. So I am just going to sit here and relax until youth, unless I feel like riding my four wheeler again for just a little while. Well I will talk to you later. Bye!

Hey! Today was very good I only had a little homework and It isn't due until Friday. So I am just doing a little at a time of it. I did take some pictures of my engine today, so maybe tomorrow after I get back from Mema's I will but them on.





Today in p.e. the smallest person, me, and the tallest person, my friend, had to wear a pedometer while we ran the mile. I took 1,955 steps and my friend took 1,500. In English we finished "The Three Musketeers". Then in later after school we had newspaper class, which I had lots of fun.

Just a Typical Day

Hey! Today was very fun, I didn't have any homework! I learned how to use a graphing calculator in algebra and in small engines I finished my engine. I was so excited to finally be finished, but the bad thing was that I had to shock my self to make sure that my spark plug was working. This evening we went to the high school softball game, it got very chilly out. Then we were going to go to the middle school football game but it was too cold.

Tomorrow we are going to the park to watch the Tour of Missouri bike race. So we will be getting out of some school, which is always good. Tomorrow we also will be starting our engines, I am very nervous, I hope I did everything right.
