Leona...

.... is one of my best friends. She is funny, and sarcastic. She loves orange, cupcakes, her dog Flip, puddle jumping, texting, and playing with Porter. She hates cats, and muffins. She wants to be an actress or a teacher when she grows up.... depending on which one happens first. She has 5 sisters and 1 brother, and lots of cousins. She is nice to everyone and did I mention funny. Stars are her favorite shape, and of course we both LOVE mac and cheese. She lives on the same highway as I do, and we both have dogs. She always cheers for me, and talks to me in American history. We are in the same youth group, and we love to have a good time. She sings, reads, and writes. Leona is a very good friend.

Busy Day #22 and 23

Hello there!

Well yesterday was very fun and exciting... and you'll never believe what happened!It is horrible...

I left my camera at home!!!

This is a first, and I am very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very SAD. :(

We went to a Springfield Cardinal's game last night. Mom, Dad, Alex, and Me, and you'd never believe where we were sitting! And you may never believe because I didn't have a camera to show you. We were sitting right behind the plate, on the fourth row. Right there, you could see everything... and when a foul ball came back it looked like it was coming right at you. I was VERY sad to find that I left my camera at home... so all of my pictures are on my phone. I texted a picture of the field from our seats to Charlie. I don't know if she got it. But that was really the only news from yesterday and there isn't too much news from today. We got home very late last night and we slept right through weights. I was actually kinda glad because I really didn't want to get up. So I slept in until.... well... around 11:30 or 45. I don't know for sure I was still sleepy. But I got up and was on the computer, then started a load of laundry. It actually just got done... one second.

Okay I'm back. We are almost our of dryer sheets. I had to text mom and tell her. I took a shower and got dressed and brushed my teeth, then I decided to blog. Also yesterday was Gina's birthday! So I thought I would say HAPPY BIRTHDAY GINA! Well.. I should be going now! Love -Rach :)

Finishing Up......

So I have some things that I started talking about... like my I Search paper on Gymnastics.

I turned in my paper on Monday and it was 14 pages long. I had all kinds of information, about Shawn Johnson and several other gymnasts, along with basic facts and principels. I also have been stressing in this calss to get my A.R. points. I currently have exactly 24 points and the goal is 25. So today after school I took about 20 minutes to sit down and read a 55 page book that is meant for second graders. It was pretty cute and worth 1 point. So I hopefull will be able to test on that tomorrow and get my goal. The deadline is Friday and I have been scrambling to get points. I've read so many books, like Princess in Pink, Skeleton Creek, Yellow Star, A Long Way from Chicago, Because of Winn Dixie, and today I finished it up with Horrible Harry In Room 2B. So hopefully I will get that test done tomorrow sometime and get all my points OVER with for the year.

Some other school related things that I've mentioned but not finished...

My tests. I finished my E.O.C. test last week. We still don't know what we got... but they should be done soon. Now we are learning how to F.O.I.L. backwards.

Then today in science we took our multiple choice test and I got an eighty seven percent. Which is better than what I usually get. We will have another test on Monday.

In English we had a test over reading stratagies.

In American history we have a big Civil War memorization and summary project due. So that will be a big project to tackle over the weekend.

In P.E. we finished up our frisbee packets, and form weight lifting.

In Mom's room I'm very excited that I finally finished their book inventory. I wrote down every title of every book that they have. I also checked to make sure that every one of them was there.

In art we turned in our 2nd to last sketchbok today, and we finished up our self portraits today too. On Monday we will start our soap carvings and have to have those done in a couple days because... WE ONLY HAVE 4 days of school LEFT!!!!

After today we have 6 but the next two days we are going on trips. We have a reward trip to S.B.U. tomorrow... and on Friday we are going to the high school for M.A.P. carnival. There are games and stuff for us to play and do during the day. Then we will have 3 days of school next week... then the 2nd to last day we'll go to the park and play all day long... then the last day of school is a short day, all we'll do is have an awards assembly and clean out our lockers. So lots going on but its not anything real exciting. It's going to weird this summer not having school or anything to talk about. I will just have pictures and stories from swimming, playing ball, riding four wheelers, and playing with the cats and Bud.

Another exciting thing coming up is MY BIRTHDAY!! Coco's birthday is coming up too.. it is on the 25th. So I'm VERY excited.

I don't think I have anything else to finish up... except that tonight I'm going to Pizza Hut to weight tables. We are doing this as a fundraiser to earn money for our basketball camp this summer. I'm not quite sure how this is going to go... but I'm excited because Bree and Gina will be there with me.

What A Day...

What A Day... that would be yesterday.

If you didn't already know we went to Stephanie's house for a cookout/celebration for Drew accepting Jesus as his personal savior, last night. Just as we were finished up the prayer and all dispersing when Alex just Collapsed. His face was very blue and he still doesn't remember it, but he is fine. They think that it was because he hadn't had anything to eat or drink all day.They called the ambulance just to make sure everything was okay. Mom is going to take him to a doctor anyway as soon as possible.

Here is the ambulance and Mom is very relieved that everything is okay.

This was the most exciting thing that happened all day... but I did do some other things. Yesterday morning I went to the creek with Alex and had a REALLY good time. We were soaked when we came home. I spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing and laying out some clothes for church. After the whole ambulance thing, I still had a birthday party to go to. So I went out to Marlanna's and had a really good time.
Today at church we were very happy to celebrate Drew being baptized. The sermon was really good, we had CMA come and preach. CMA is a christian motorcycle group that go around telling others about God. They did a really good job, and then after church they came to the same restaurant as us and had lunch. We had a really good time and now we are just relaxing and having a good time.

So sorry... I have been SO BUSY!! BUT I HAVE GREAT NEWS!!!!!!!

Here is my wonderful last few days!!!

• Tuesday- M.A.P. testing at school, and a high school meet after school.Mom worked at the finish line, and I worked at the triple jump. I ate 3 Snickers bars, and cheered for our team!!
• Wednesday- MORE M.A.P. testing!! But we played LOTS of dodge ball.It was an early release day, so I stayed at school with Mom. Me and Gina walked to Sundae's and I got a corn dog and a shake. Later we came back to school, and got ready for pictures. We went out to the track at 2:30 and had our pictures done(hope they turn out good). At 4:00 our track meet started. I was in 4 events, 100,long jump,800, 4x4. In the 100, well... lets just say that I didn't get last, and I didn't get first. In the long jump I jumped 12'2'' a which I don't think I placed. In the 800, I GOT 1st PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had the best time, so I got to be on the very inside. I took off running and got ahead of everyone and stayed that way the whole rest of the time. I also broke my personal best time which was 2:48, and it is now 2:47. I was VERY EXCITED!!! And Grandma Charlie, Stephanie, David, and the boys were there. BUT THE EVEN BETTER NEWS IS THAT I DIDN'T GET JUST 1 GOLD MEDAL, I GOT TWO!!! OUR 4X4 TEAM DID GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!! Josie was gone so Laura took her spot and did GREAT!!! We started out towards the back but she pulled us into 1st!!! Then Bethany kept us in 1st, and Bree kept us in 1st til the last 100, and got passed by a Strafford girl. After Bree handed off to me I took of sprinting and passed the girl from Strafford, and kept us in the lead all the way to the finish line!!!!!! I made up a cool rhyme to remember hand offs and stuff. "Receive in your left, run in your right, keep on going til the finish line's in sight!" I thought It was pretty good. So it was a GOOD night. Woo......
• Thursday- Today at school we basically just did some grading, and little work. This would be because we were just ready to be OUT of school. We have a four day weekend if you didn't know. We had morning practice today because we have a dance after school. So I helped Mom and Kathy set up for their party on Tuesday. After that Mom brought us home, and I played with Bud for a while. We went down to the creek and he got me all WET! But I came inside and got ready for the dance. At 7:00 Mom dropped me off at the school, and I went to go hang out with my friends. I had a good time laughing at Bree and Leona. I liked laughing at Laura and Bethany too! It was a lot of fun... my favorites were the Cupid Shuffle,and the Cha Cha Slide (sp?). I was getting tired though, and the weather has been atrocious.So I had Mom come and pick me up a little before the dance was over. I had all the fun I needed, then left. Now I am at home nice and warm, blogging, and thinking about all the fun I will have tomorrow with my Buddies.
• Friday- Big fun with my FRIENDS!!! LONG WEEKEND AND LOTS OF FUN!!!!! I like all of these colors!! It reminds me of spring. So I am going to watch a movie with my family... I think it is The Final Season. I baseball movie of course!!!

P.S. I got my Mary Kay stuff today and I found out that I was the top seller! So I got a 25$$ gift certificate to buy anything Mary Kay. So I was very excited about that too!!!

This has been a really good week so far.

CRAZINESS

Hey!Today has been GREAT so far. We didn't have any homework, since today was a short Wednesday. But this morning we had morning practice and I was SO tired. I didn't think I could go to school. So I was very glad when 7th hour came around.

After school, Papa picked us up and brought us over to Kay's house. So I have been relaxing and watching some TV. Later I will have softball practice at around 5. Then our bible study for tonight has been canceled due to our Mystery Dinner at the church. So I think that we will be going to that this evening too. If we are still having youth then I will go right to youth after the dinner.

So this has been a very long and exhausting day. Not to mention I keep coughing, and have to blow my nose all the time.

I don't know if we will be having the track meet that is scheduled for tomorrow. It is supposed to rain and be cold. So we will see about the track meet. I also have two softball games this weekend. I have only been able to go to two practices because of track, so AH.. this could be scary!!

We also are very excited that North Carolina is still going on! I hope they win the whole thing. Gina was very upset that Mizzou lost, but I was able to get over it.

So right now I am watching Little People Big World, and finished eating an apple. So I hope you have a very good day, and am not so busy.

Sometime

Hey! So I'm finally back!!! I don't think that I need to tell you about school on Tuesday, I'll start with track practice. First we were outside in the freezing cold wind, and it started raining, so we got our stuff and ran inside. Then after we were soaked, we came inside the middle school gym and did 20 minutes of running. But it wasn't too bad because me and Josie we making small talk the whole time. After practice I went home with Bree and we had some supper, took showers, and went to bed. I was very tired last night, and we had to get up very early. So I was able to wake up with out much of a problem, and Bree's grandpa was the one who drove the bus, so we were there right when the bus was, ha. All of our friends came in and sat by us. It was a very extremely long ride up there, and we had to sit by Mr.Ochner. We had breakfast at McDonald's on the way up, I had two hash browns, and then we went all the way to Jefferson City. We did a few odd things here and there, but our first actual tour was at this the High Way patrol headquarters. We went in and looked at all of the different things that they had, and watched a very scary/sad movie. We next headed to lunch, which was our sack lunches, eaten in front of the Governor's mansion. After lunch we went to the Capital, which was very interesting. I got lots of pictures, and it was really neat! To follow that we went to a military place, and did a scavenger hunt. This was the last thing we did, we started going home and stopped for dinner at McDonald's, were I had a Mc double,fries, and a chocolate milk shake. YUM!! We got home at around 7:30 or so. I am very exhausted, and after unpacking my stuff, and down loading my pictures I am so ready for a snack, and then bed. We are doing devotions and pictures will have to wait for tomorrow. Goodnight.

Hustle and Bustle

Hey! I'm so sorry that I didn't post yesterday, it has just been pure chaos!

Friday at school was really boring anyways so I think I will just skip that, and tell you about the great evening I had. I had a couple of friends over last night after track practice, which I am so sore. So we hung out, got the dog out, petted the cats, went to the creek right at sun down with rubber boots and flashlights. It was really fun because next to Josie's house there was this huge fire, I mean HUGE!!! So we went to check it out, well sorta, we walked up the creek til we came to a part that was kinda close to the edge. On our way back, Bud who was with us, stepped on this bottle. So I picked it up, and there was a note inside, we opened it up then took it up to Chad and Christy's to read it. It said something along these lines...

"If you are reading this please bring it back to "blank","blank",and "blank".

Except those blanks were people's names that go to our high school. So we gave the note to Christy, the high school Secretary, to give to them Monday at school. I wonder what they will think about somebody actually finding the note. So that was really fun, and we took another walk, and Bud got stuck in a hole. Later we came back to the house and had the best dessert EVER!! It is pictured above, and you have to try it out. By the way we had a wonderful dinner too, chicken and rice, strawberry's,grapes,cottage cheese,and some other things.

Mom,Dad,and Alex later went to play baseball up at the ball field.I heard it was very fun. So we were off adventuring, then came to the house had a snack, took showers, and talked. I think we finally went to sleep at around 12:30. This morning we slept in, made some muffins, went on another walk down the creek, came back, had some milk, played with Coco, and then shortly later they all left. As soon as Dad got home we ate lunch really fast, then headed off to Springfield. We did some shopping, I got a new helmet,and a pair of track shoes, which are just regular tennis shoes. So we finally got home, and Mom will be coming home soon to pick up Me and Dad so we can go out to the Roller's for a movie night. I think though that I am going to be watching the little babies, which is even more fun. I will make sure to take my camera, in case I have free hands and something cute.

So this has been a very hectic day,but it is all fine because the weather is SO great, and I've got to be with my wonderful friends. Hope you are having a wonderful weekend!!!

A Blustery Day

Hello! Today has been so great! This morning I woke up, a little sleepier than I would like, then got ready for church. This morning in Sunday school we watched part two in our making right choices video. It was also very exciting because Leona was there, and so was Gina and Josie. After Sunday school we went upstairs for church, which was led today by Abiding Faith, our drama team. They did so wonderful, they led worship, had testimonies, and several really funny skits. I learned today that I should show my crack in public, and you only will get that if you were in service today. So now that we are home, Mom is preparing lunch, which is going to be YUMMY!!! I am so hungry, and we're having my favorite, mac and cheese, fish sticks, and tacquitos. Alex is playing video games, Dad is on the other computer, I am blogging, and Bud is down in the bottom sniffing stuff. I still don't know exactly where the cats are. I saw Coco yesterday and got to play with him, but he disappeared. The house smells SO GOOD!!

I'm reading right now in my book, Princess in Waiting, by Meg Cabot, and it is getting really good. She is now in Genovia, giving speeches, and giving her opinions to all of these big places. If you read the books and get to know Mia's character, you'd know that she is very earth friendly, vegetarian, and donates lots of money to Green Peace. Her whole life she has grown up in New York City, and her mother has some strange thoughts her self. So the things she says to the government leaders is pretty funny. Met with Genovian casino operators. Was discouraged by their insistence on maintaining valet parking for their patrons. Explained substantial increase in revenue generated by parking meters, but was rebuffed.

This is just a little paragraph.

So I had to stop in the middle of my post to go and eat lunch. It was SO GOOD! I'm stuffed! Later I think I am going to read some, go play with Bud, and look for Coco and Skit. So I am just going to continue to relax and enjoy!

A weeks worth of Randomness

So I Posted about the dog, and now I'm going to tell you about my GREAT Thursday! First hour in science we finished up a lab. Second hour in Algebra 1 we had a substitute, because MOLLY HAD HER BABY!!! Her name in Aleah Rose, and I have no idea is that is how you spell that. The pronunciation of her first name is AL Leah. She was 21 inches long and I think 9 pounds. So that was very exciting news!! So in class we had these work sheets to do. I finished them in class though. Third hour in American history we went over the Bill of Rights, and tonight I am working on memorizing the first ten, so I can recite them tomorrow.Here it goes...

4. Search and Seizure.

These are right, I checked. Fourth hour in FACS we did some sewing stuff. I'm not very good at it, but I try. Fifth hour in P.E. we had to go out to the track and had to run the mile. I am very sore and tired, but I did it in 7 minutes and 20 seconds. Sixth hour in English we had another substitute and had to do M.A.P. preparation. I got that done in class too. Seventh hour I went to Mom's room and put away some books, and then hung out in the ISS room with Papa, and Mom was next door. After school we had softball practice. So we lifted weights and then went outside to throw. Mom picked me up later and took Alex to baseball practice, and then we came home. I got the dog out and we started playing. But we could see a big storm coming, so I took him over to Josie's to show him to her before it started raining. We were running back to house, and Bud just had to take a break, so I stopped to pet him. And guess what!!! It started raining, so I had to run back to the house and kennel him up, and he was panting really hard so I gave him some water. I came back inside and he was crying and crying. Then later after it stopped raining, I went back out and got him out. We took a nice long run around the neighborhood. We went up the road and down the lane, and around the loop, and back, to the bottom, up the road, up the hill, around the house, and down the path, and finally to the pen. It was very fun, and I got to see him jump. I came back out with some Bacon and was getting ready to make him sit, when he jumped up in the air to try and grab that bacon. So I now can say, BUD jumps.Later I can back inside, and took a shower, I smelled like wet dog, and muddy!!! Since then, I have studied, and blogged, and had a wonderful dinner. Breakfast dinner, pancakes,eggs,bacon, and a cold glass of milk. So I have had a wonderful day!!! Hope yours was good too!!

Hey! This is a post telling about Friday and Saturday. So right now ( pretend) its Friday. So first hour in science we did bingo review, which stunk because every time I LOST. But I came so close, once I needed 1 in 6 directions to have a bingo. But NO I never once could get all of them in a row. Second hour in Algebra 1 we went over some homework and then learned some new stuff, about graphing slope. Kinda easy kinda hard, the homework he assigned I finished in American history. Third hour in American history we had a junior scholastic to do, easy, then we just sat and did whatever. Fourth hour in music our projects were due, and we presented. Bree and Me were partners and it turned out really good. We made a magazine, and it was set in the 1800s when Beethoven was around. So we had lots of information on Ludwig Van Beethoven,World events, concert section, weather, cartoons, for sale section, and some other stuff. In the end the final product was very nice looking. Fifth hour in P.E. we had a substitute and we just played hockey the whole hour. At the very end of class, she said to rotate goalies, and everyone left so I stood up there. I probably was there for 2 seconds and Braydon hit the puck really hard, and It nailed me in the leg. It stung really bad, and left a red mark on my leg. I'm never going to be goalie again. It was really weird today not going to basketball practice or a game or something. Sixth hour in English we had another sub, and it was reading workshop day so I read some more of the Princess Diaries. The book is SO much different then the movie. The movie is still really good, but the book just explains things a lot more than the movie. Like in the book her Dad actually comes to her home and tells her that she is a Princess instead of her grandma. In the book Grandmere ( Grandma) lives in France, and her Father is the King.So if you liked the movie, you might like the book too. Seventh hour I went to Mom's room and there wasn't too much to do, so I picked up some little thin books out of a crate that looked interesting. I read one about stone henge, and brought home two other ones, both about history. I am so close to having my Christmas gifts for my friends done. I just have 3 left and only til Friday to do them. Hope I can get finished up. I need to hurry and finish this so I can hustle and do my gifts. After school Bree came over to Mom's room and she came home with me. We just relaxed and ate pizza and then went to the high school girls game. They lost by 1 point in the last few seconds. It was a nail bitter. After the game I went home with Bree and spent the night at her house. I had a lot of fun with Bree and Sophie, her cousin, who also spent the night.

*SATURDAY*

Today I woke up and we ate breakfast, then watched some TV, then relaxed,then played with Bree's little puppy Lilly. At around noon Mom met Karen at Fast Stop and I came home. I have just been on the computer all afternoon. Actually that's not true, I made some mini blue berry muffins earlier. They are pretty good, I better leave though because I need to get working on those gifts. Ahhhh..... I have lots of things I would like to say but I don't want to type them. So BYE.

Hello. I am very tired this morning. Well I woke up this morning to two little boys yelling about some video game. Alex/Jake. So I got up and ate an apple, then went upstairs and cleaned my room since tomorrow is our big bonfire. So I cleaned and packed for Bree's house. I spending the night with her tonight. But in about 45 minutes we will have to leave so Mom can take me to basketball practice, from1:00-3:00. Then right after practice I am going home with Bree to her party, today is her birthday. Well I guess I will be going, BYE:)

Hey! I just got back from Laura's birthday party. I had a lot of FUN. We stayed up really late, making s'mores and played outside. Then we all dressed up and put on makeup and then took pictures. I didn't get too much sleep but I had a really good time. Today we are just going to stay at home and relax. Then tonight we are going to the Shipley's chili thing, and Leona is coming over to spend the night. Tomorrow we are doing our Sunday school lesson and I am really excited. Well I guess I will go, Jacob and Alex are watching "Glory Road", and they have popcorn so I think I am going to go hang out with them. Bye.
