Pictures

So here are the pictures that I told you about from yesterday. I will tell you a little about each one. This was such a fun trip, and I love all of these pictures. This picture is of one of the cars that they had in the Highway Patrol HQ. I mainly took this because the car was very very funny looking.
This picture is of a mannequin man, set up in this model jail room. They were telling us about how if you drink and drive you could go to jail, along with many other driving don'ts.
They had lots of actual police cars in the building, and they showed ones that were very old, all the way up to new. This one was just very neat looking so I thought I would show you.
This is Bree looking at one of the diagrams. I don't know what this one was, but one of my favorites was the one on Bonnie and Clyde.
This is of some of the kids in our school looking at some things on drugs, and guns.
Here is a picture of a wrecked car. I don't think it was in a real accident, just a model one.
Here is the CAPITOL!!! It looks so huge from far away, and when you're on the stairs... WOW!
Here are the big columns on the side of the capital. So pretty.
Here are Leona and Bethany trying to wrap their arms all the way around a giant pole!
This is us standing near the state seal, and looking up the dome.
Josie and me in front of an old stage coach.
Here is Me and all of my friends. Courtnee', Kelsie, Bethany,Bree,Leona,Me,Josie,Gina,Marlanna, Brittney, and Abi.
Here's the crew, Bree,Me,and Leona! What great Friends!
You wouldn't think that the boys would want their pictures taken, but they were just as bad as the girls.
I love this picture of Leona and Me, It is SO CUTE!!!
Here is the our Representative Mike Parson. He came and talked to us.
We got to go and see this very pretty painting in the capital, I think the painter was Benton.
Here is the other side of it, with the older days, and the one above is of newer days.
This is another side of the capital. Next we went to a military place, and got to see all of these really neat tanks.
I think it was this one that was used in one of the wars.
These next few are all bus ride pictures. Here is Me and Bree, buddies.
Josie, and Marlanna!!!!! Rise and Shine.
And last but not least... here is Kelsie!!!

I love the picture of you and Leona, too. Mike Parson is a very nice man. I haven't seen him for a long time. You know the dome on top of the capitol? Ronnie Miller took me up there one day and we went outside on the walkway that circles it. It was very, very high, and I thought I would be afraid, but it was such a spectacular view, I loved it! The worst part was climbing the stairs inside that took us there. They were the steel mesh ones that you can see through, and that was scary. I like Jefferson City, and I think we have a beautiful Capitol building. I love the river flowing by, too. And the murals by Thomas Hart Benton. His work was - and still is, I guess - very controversial. A lot of people don't like it because they think it looks too cartoonish or something. I'm one of those who likes it. Well, I'd better get to work. Lots of stories to write today. Love you! GC
