QUOTE FROM ALEX WHEELER

So tonight at church Mom had nursery. Elijah was getting not fussy but loud so I offered to take him downstairs, and I was glad that Alex tagged along. While I was bouncing him around the nursery trying to please him I asked Alex if he wanted to hold him because my arms were getting tired. Here was his response, " Why don't you just lay him down in that crib thing and tell him to go to sleep?". So after that I had to explain why a not even one year old child, couldn't just be told to sleep and do it. I thought I would just share with you that interesting conversation. Oh and just for laughs I'll you another one.
I finally sat down and he didn't get fussy. So I sat there and Alex started talking, and Elijah whipped his head around and gave him the look, like You woke me up. So I had to stand up again and I bounced him some more. Alex goes," Why don't you take him behind that curtain over there?I think that corner is supposed to be peaceful.". The corner he was talking about is were the Moms go to feed the babies. So I told him that if I went behind there he was probably smart enough to figure out that this is were he gets fed. I didn't want to go there because I didn't have food and that might make him cry." I thought babies just ate at the table?"Said Alex. Then we got into an argument about if Elijah had enough teeth to eat real food. I said no because I knew he didn't have that many teeth. And we weren't going to try and remove the pacifier, for fear of tears. So Alex learned several things tonight about babies.
