- She is around the age of 19.
- Her father's name is Polonius.
- Her father was teh Lord Chamberlain of King Claudius's.
- She had a brother names Laertes- who is still alive in the story.
- She would be put in the Nobility part of the social class system.
- She lives with her Father and takes authority from her father.
- She would LOVE to be married to Hamlet, but her father doesn't allow it.
- She probably was Catholic, which may have influenced her to be very polite and give her more of a lady like attitude.
- She may not have traveled any where except for places around her hometown area.
- Her main goal was to get to be with Hamlet.
- Ophelia is polite, and thought of highly. It would be rare, to find her being loud or dis-respectful.
- Her behavior is of a young, and talented lady. She cares for everyone and takes time to think her problems through.
- She judges people by what she sees on the inside not on the outside. She sees how kind and compassionate they are and not they outward appearance.
These are the questions I had to answer about my persona. I picked Ophelia because she was a girl, and part of the things we have to do in our journal is to talk about how we feel about other people's choices. And she has a lot of parts where things happen, and I have some Ideas of what to write. Which we have our first entry due on Monday, so I need to do it tonight and get it out of the way.
So now would you like to hear about the rest of my day????? First hour in science we had to take a test, luckily this was the performance event test, which means we didn't have to study. I think that me and my partner did pretty good. I was partnered up with Annie, and she is good at science. So hopefully our test will turn out some where around an A or high B. Second hour in Algebra 1 we graded our homework from yesterday, and I was sooooooo excited because I got an 11/11!!!! Which doesn't usually happen, but it did today. I am kinda confused as to what is going on in algebra but I think if we practice a little more, I will get the hang of it. We also were assigned some work book page problems, which luckily we had 20 minutes in class to work on them. I got the word problem page mostly finished and then I finished both pages in American history. Which all we did in there was work some more on our essays, which I already have written, I just need to type them. So that hour I got to lay back and relax, I read a news paper and finished up some homework from other classes. Fourth hour was AWESOME!!!!!!! I think it was the best hour of the day. We got to eat!!!! YUM!Today we were having a pre-super bowl party, and made lots of delicious super bowl party treats. We made mini pizzas, biscuit smashed, with pizza sauce, cheese, and sausage, very scrumptious. Next we made pigs in a blanket, little smokies wrapped in half a biscuit. Then we made two kinds of nacho cheese, the Velveeta(sp?) kind, and then an off brand kind, we were testing to see which one tasted better. Which obviously we all chose that the Velveeta tasted the best. We also made some dip, my group wasn't in charge of that so I don't know what was in it, but it was really good. We just dipped our crackers in it, and YUM!!!! I had had so much to eat already that when lunch was next, I wasn't even hungry, so I saved my food for later, I ate it after school.On my way to lunch Me, and Courtnee' were walking together and met up with Mrs.Maze and she told her that I was the best dressed person in facs. Courtnee' asked why that was, and Mrs.Maze said that it was because I always wear my pink and brown apron that she made me for Christmas every time that we cook, I just keep it there in a cubby. Fifth hour in P.E. we went to the weight room. It was pretty fun, for the weight room. Me and Leona were partners and we did like 8 things, which consisted of jump rope, resistance bands, squats, shoulder press, triceps extension, hang clean, lunges w/ a 25 lb weight for Me, and the leg curls for Leona, and one other thing but I can't remember the name of it.................. NO, still don't have it. Sixth hour in English we did a 4,6,8 journal and then went into the computer lab to do that research I told you about. I like to do 4,6,8 journals, a few weeks ago our class made a list of 4 characters, 6 places, and 8 things that could happen to them. Mrs. Halley has this spinner that has numbers on them and if they land on that number then it is that character, that place, and something happens to them. Today we did Sleeping Beauty, in the bathroom, growing an extra head. Mine wasn't as gory as other peoples, It went along the lines of this...
Once upon a time in a far off land lived a Princess names Sleeping Beauty. She loved to stand in front of the mirror and daze into her beautiful blue eyes. Everyday for hours at a time, she would spend time staring at her priceless reflection. One day while she was standing in front of that pink and gold mirror dressed in one of her favorite dresses, the one that was purple silk with 200( an even 200) diamonds in the collar. She began to notice a small bump on her shoulder, strange, seeings how she never had to lift a finger. I know I haven't bumped it on anything, thought Sleeping Beauty. With in a few minutes the bump had grown Huge and was starting to to come out off on branch. NO, a neck, the face was clearer now, and she knew that something was wrong. She closed her eyes shut as hard as she could, hoping it was just a dream. Then she opened them, and in the mirror the even more beautiful face was staring right back at her. It was gorgeous, more pretty and perfect then Beauty could ever imagine. Seconds passed, then minutes, and the head was just facing forward, and the strangest thing was that it never breathed. Beauty thought it was a joke, a dream, plastic, anything, just not real! Then it all came to her, what will I do? I'll never find a Prince we will love me, My children will be hideous even if I do find a husband. Will my people laugh at me, I'll be put to shame, will this thing be here forever!?????? Hopefully not, surely not! I have just reached a turning point in my life thought Beauty, I have the finest clothes, the skinniest figure, the smoothest skin, and never has anyone in all of the valley, EVER been prettier than ME! Why, must it be this way!????
And that is way more than I actually wrote. But I started typing and it all fell together. I actually probably stopped at around the part where I said it started to branch off. I thought that was nasty, but the boys can think of way nastier, Of course. Seventh hour I wen to Mom's room and put away some books, and went to the middle school library to get the next book in the Princess Diaries series, I'm ready for the third one! So I went over and returned the one I just finished, then went and looked for the third one. I didn't see it, and decided to ask the librarian if she knew if it was checked out or not. Of course it was, and now I have to wait until Wednesday to even see if the sixth grader that has it, is turning it in or not. So I got another book called Night Flying, just so I would have something to read. It is really short, like 126 pages and is worth 4 points, So I thought that I would read that until Wednesday and keep myself occupied. After school Mom,Me, and Alex left shortly after the bus did, and we were definitely ready. This week has seemed really long, for having 2 snow days in the middle. But we just came right on home right after school, and I sat down and started blogging! WOWZA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is a very very very very long post, and it is 5:00!!!!!!! I can't believe it!!! I've been typing for over an hour. But I guess I should have known, Alex played a whole game of football on the play station and Mom has been napping soundly for a LONG time. Dad should be home soon, and Coco and Skit look so CUTE! Sleeping all snuggled up out on the back porch. So that's all about the family. I guess I should get to work on this homework that I REALLY don't want to do!
