Brr... FREEZING!!!!!!!!
Today was SO cold! When we went out to the van after school it was covered in Ice and Mom had to scrape so we could go to the grocery store, then home.
But lets talk about the rest of my day first!
First hour in science we graded some homework, and then we went over some tough questions on the stubby guide. I think I got the whole thing completed, I also got my name on the board today, because I found the hard answer, and he told us that anyone who could tell show him the right answer could put their name on the board, So I got my name up there again. So hopefully I will get a soda and candy bar, after the Superbowl. I am soooooooooooooooo excited for the Super Bowl party that we are having at Steve and Donis on next Sunday. Second hour in Math, or Algebra 1 we graded our homework, then we went over some stuff we learned last year. It was pretty easy, we had homework, and I finished it in American history. I finished it in that class because we went to the computer lab and were researching information on the 15 battles, because we have a huge project that will be due this week. The assignment is to write a summary on three of the 15 major battles of the Revolutionary war. Here are the 15: Lexington and Concord,Fort Ticonderoga,Bunker Hill,Long Island,Quebec,Lake Champlain,Trenton,Princeton,Savannah,Saratoga,Charleston,Cow Pens, York Town,Treaty of Paris. I picked to do summaries of Lexington and Concord,Bunker Hill, and Trenton. Mainly because they all were major wins, and interesting wins for the colonists, It's easier to write about something knowing that we won.We also have to make a poster or diorama or something as a visual aid, of just one of the battles. So I haven't decided which one yet, but I'm thinking Trenton. We'll see. I got all the stuff I need as fast as possible, then did my math homework so I wouldn't have to bring home that huge MoNsTeR bOoK! So I do have some homework in American history. Fourth hour in facs we went over how to set the table, and we got our tests back. I got a 100/100, It was really easy though. We also folded towels, sorted silver ware, and a few other odd jobs. Fifth hour in P.E. we played bad mitten and Me and Marlanna won! We are playing in a tournament, in pool B. So our first game was against Aaron and Eric. The final score was 12 to 15! Our team motto is Hustle, and Muscle! Sixth hour in English we did this thing called stomp the bard, which I still don't know what that means, but we stomped. We did these things that Shakespeare did and it was really weird, No homework though. Seventh hour I went to Mom's room and put away some books then went to the library to get a book just in case we got snowed/iced in tomorrow. I finished my Princess Diaries Book, so I took a test on it and then got the next one in the series called Princess in the Spotlight. It is really good so far, I like Meg Cabot, she has really funny books. But so far in this second one, Mia's Mom is pregnant, and she is going to have an interview with some Teen Magazine and she doesn't want to. So hopefully I can get some more read in the book. After School Mom, Alex, and Me left and went to the grocery store just to pick up some items in case we got snowed/iced in. Then we came home, and we had to park at the top of the hill at Stephanie's. We walked down the path and came home. As soon as I came in I had some Kitty business to take care of. Once that was taken care of that, I came inside and started working on one of these summaries. I finished the one on Lexington and Concord, and I'm so happy to have one of them done. I have really been dreading them but knowing that that first one was easy I'm hoping the next one's will be just like that. Tonight I am hoping that I can get at least one more done tonight, then the other tomorrow, and do the poster on Wednesday after school. So if everything goes as planned I will be done by Wednesday night. Wish Me luck. Bye.
PS. Tonight We aren't doing anything! At all, none, nothing, zilch. Just going to relax at home and try to stay warm. Poor Kitty's out in the snow.
