Basketball Game

Here is Drew C's little cousin.

Alex, I thought I would just take a black and white picture, just for fun. They always look cool when the professional players have their pics in black and white.

We couldn't get Alex to smile before this one. But Papa tickled him a little and that made him change his mind about the smiling thing.

Tickle Tickle!

WE WON! Alex's team won their basketball game today. I'm pretty sure that the score was 12 to 32 at the end. So a pretty big Tiger win. Lots of very interesting things went down in this game. First of all, looking at the positive, Alex hit 5 three pointers. He also had several other points, but we weren't really keeping track. Down below is a video of one of those three pointers. #23, far side, the one that just threw the ball in, you can follow him if you like.

Switching to a different foot, Alex was guarding a kid from Eldorado, the team we were playing. Alex was trying to steal the ball, I couldn't really see, all I saw was Alex go down to the floor hard, then the referee blew his whistle and yelled. Apparently the kid had taken Alex by the face and shoved him down to the floor. The referee had already warned this kid once to settle down, so he kicked him out. The atmosphere after that was really weird. But you know. Alex got to shoot four free throws, two for the foul, and two for the technical, HA! So today was really fun. I have some pictures here of the game and then some other stuff that I will explain.

This is the book that Me and some of the girls from my youth group are going to start reading. We will meet on Wednesday nights and read, and discuss things together. We decided that we would do this over the Colorado Trip. The book is called "For Such A Time As This" By: Lisa Ryan.

The Sunset on the way home from the game was BEAUTIFUL! It was so pretty, but this was the only decent picture I got. I took a video but I didn't feel like it was worth putting on here.

Here is the cool little thing I told you the kids made in Children's church. I made one and this is what it turned out like. I took some good bible verses and wrote them on these little tags. Then I took some colorful string and tied some in bows and some just in regular knots, and this is the final product. I was pretty proud. Each page is color coordinated. Oh yea!
