Hey! Today started out horribly but then it turned around and everything is smooth. Well last night as you know I spent the night at Kay's house because this morning we were going to have to go there anyway. Well everything we great and dandy, until I got to school. I went to my locker and was getting my water bottle out of my bag, the lid popped open and water spilled ALL over my stuff, and the floor. So my purse was soaking wet, I took my music instrument out so I would remember it for fourth hour. I got everything put in my locker in a place it would dry. So then in first hour science we did a lab and had all kinds of questions and worksheets to do. I couldn't get a straight answer from anyone, which I HATE! Lets just say I was very FRUSTRATED! When the bell rang I left the lab and went to my locker to get my stuff for 2ND,3rd,and 4Th hour. When I got there I couldn't find my instrument anywhere! I was going to be tardy if I didn't leave so I just left without it. I figured I would come back after third hour and look one last time to see if I could find it, plus I had left my music folder in there any way. Second hour in algebra we went over homework and then were assigned some more, a chapter review. We were allowed to work together so I finished in class. I had no homework which was good seeing how my morning was so bad. Second hour brightened it up a little. Then in third hour American history we were reading a new section and discussing war, when I realized that I turned my music bell work folder in yesterday and I didn't need to go back to my locker. I told this to Leona and she said that she had a plastic wind-up McDonald's toy that I could borrow for music. Fourth hour which was music I finally had gotten out of my gloomy estate and was actually excited to preform my music. We had 20 minutes to practice, then it was SHOW TIME!
Everything went great, I mean as far as the music and our groups overall song. The title was Cupcakes, pretty RAD huh. After this hour everything was pretty good. At lunch it was MIX IT UP DAY. Which is always exciting, to get to sit at tables and with people you are unfamiliar with. The strange thing was that Whitney handed me a blue card, and Bradly handed Josie a blue card, then Bethany told Bree to draw and she picked a blue card. So we all got to sit by each other. Later Lillian came along and so did Bradly. Mr.Edington was the teacher to sit at our table, teacher drew colors too. So we had a good time discussing the topics that were on the card at our table. The first one was " What is your least favorite school subject?" I said Science, and so did Bree and Josie. Lillian said Math and Mr.Edington said English. He was glad that Lillian was honest in front of him. I said I liked math, but I didn't really like the actual math part of math, just the class and being in it with all my friends.
Fifth hour in P.E. we went to the weight room and lifted weights. Coach Mohler said I had really good form when I was doing Squats,or whatever it is you call that thing when you do a squat with the bar on your shoulders.Sixth hour in English we presented our projects. But before that Mrs. Halley read to us part of the book that she is writing, it is very good. After she finished she asked me to read one of my best entries so I found one and read it. It was about a monkey named Leah who wanted to go to college. It went something along this line, Today is my first day of college. I was accepted into SBU just a few weeks ago. Wish me luck on my big day.
That night...
Today was the worst day ever. When I went to English the teacher called the pound. In biology my partner is a rock because nobody else wanted to be. But the worst part was when I went to get lunch the snack bar only had chips and sandwiches, No cantaloupe( her favorite food) No nothing.
That was most of it. I think there were a few other things in there but this was the most important stuff.
So we did that, and then we started presenting. The first groups took like 25 minutes and the second group wrote a journal so that took another 10. By the time we got up there wasn't too much time left. So we got cut short and will finish tomorrow. Seventh hour Mom of course was in a meeting, in Springfield. So her door was locked, and she warned me that it might be. So I asked Mr. Ochner if I could come in his room seventh hour during his small engines class. So I did and I just sat and talked with Josie,Abby, and Taylor. As you can see, my terribly stressful day turned out fabulous in the end. No homework, No tardies, and I got to sit by people I knew during mix it up day.
But things got even better. At practice after school we had a very light practice, and by light I mean light. We didn't run at all and I only broke a sweat once. The even better news was that they told us since we are having a dance tomorrow night( that I am not going to due to the rock-a-thon.) they need to cut practice short so the Stu-co people can help set up. Practice will end at 4:30 and then they will let us stay till 5:00 and scrimmage. So I am going to stay until 5.
Later at 8:00 I am going up to the church with one of our red living room chairs to sit in a chair all night long. 8:OO PM TO 8:00 AM. Crazy, but sounds like fun.We are doing this as a fundraiser for our Colorado trip. I have several donations.
Well I should be going now my arms are starting to hurt from typing so long. Bye. Love you.
