Nut Fest

Hey! Sorry I haven't written in two days. That's because on Wednesday night Mom and me went to the fest and watched Abiding Faith, they did very good. Then on Thursday we went to school, that evening I went home with my friend Courtnee'. We went to the fest, and saw that Alex and his friend Colton had a turtle that they were going to enter in the terrapin race. Little #42 didn't win but he did pretty good for being caught a few hours before the race. After that we walked around in the shops with some friends. Courtnee' and Me bought cell phone charms and got a third one free, for our other friend Bree. Mine is a purple cross, Courtnee's says love, and Bree's says peace. So we were very excited about that. Then Leona and Me decided we wanted to ride rides, so we bought wrist bands. We really wanted to ride the carousel but the carnival worker said that we were too big.So instead we went and rode the spinney ride,I don't know what it's called. But we rode that first, then rode the shuttle ride which was so scary!!!After that we were going to ride the spinney thing again and we met Steph with Drew and Tater. So we rode that with them, then headed over to Eddy's Wild West, which was a fun house type of thing. The boys wanted to go ride the shuttle so we did and it was even scarier the second time. Then we went and got some money from Mom so we could go jump on the Iron Man, which was a huge blow up bounce house, but it had a maze inside and at the very end you go down a huge slide! That was one of the most fun things. We were going back to ride the spinney thing one more time and as we were getting to the front of the line Alex and his friend Ryan jump in line with us. So they rode the ride with us, we laughed and screamed so hard. They were spinning us so fast, and they hated it when we screamed so we did it anyway. After that I went and got my clothes from Mom and then found Courtnee' again. We all went and got a snack,we shared a funnel cake and some popcorn. Then Courtnee' and Me were walking up the hill to go home and we saw a little boy just running in the square all by himself. Courtnee' ran up and grabbed him, then we showed him to Courtnee's Mom. We went back down the hill after asking all the nearest people if he was theirs. Nobody claimed him so we gave him to the police. It turns out that the little boy was a Carnival workers, and was being watched by his 10 year old brother. We don't know what happened after that but we were very thankful that we found him when we did. That night we went home and fell right to sleep. Then next morning Mom came and picked me up, we went to Springfield and had the best time shopping. We got all kinds of new stuff! I got a new pair of tennis shoes, a black and brown pair of dress shoes, a head band, body spray, shorts, make up, pearler beads, and some pictures. Alex got a lot of things too, considering we don't usually get him anything. He got a new binder, basketball shoes, and birthday presents. We had a great time. We got home around 6:00 and then Mom dropped me off at the fest with some of my friends. We watched the talent show and then just looked around at some booths. Mom came and got me later and then we came home and I took a shower. Alex had one of his friends over to spend the night, him and Dad went to the high school football game last night, they lost bad. We ate pizza and started to watch a movie but I fell asleep at the beginning. So I spent the whole night on the couch. I slept in till about 9:00 and then got up, I heard something and I didn't know what it was. When I looked out the window it was a machine. Roger came out this morning and is doing our yard. It looks so much better already. Mom was so excited to see that they were finally going to fix the yard. While Dad was here Mom told him to go ahead and give him one of his birthday gifts, a new baseball bat. They thought they should give it to him to use in his last two baseball games today. He was half way asleep so I don't know what his reaction was. But I know he will be excited.

Today we are going to Alex's ball games at Mickey Owens then coming home I guess. But we always have fun at his games. I was planning on going to the parade but then I decided I would rather go to Charlie's house.

Tomorrow I am going to church then relaxing I think. So this weekend has been very fun so far.
